Joseph Joseph CleanForce Garlic Press: Mincing Made Easy (and Clean!)
I recently picked up the Joseph Joseph CleanForce Garlic Press and Ginger Crusher, and it's quickly become my go-to tool in the kitchen. Here's my breakdown of the pros and cons:Pros:Effortless Squeezing: This press lives up to its "easy squeeze" claim. Garlic cloves are minced with minimal effort, thanks to the ergonomic design and leverage.Cleaning Champion: The built-in wiper blade and included cleaning tool are absolute game-changers. No more picking stubborn garlic bits out of tiny holes! This press cleans up in a breeze.Multitasking Master: Not just for garlic! This handy gadget can also tackle ginger and other small, tough ingredients.Sturdy Build: The press feels well-made and durable, with comfortable handles that won't flex under pressure.Good Size: The hopper can accommodate larger cloves, and the overall size is compact enough for easy storage.Stylish Design: Let's be honest, a pop of green in the kitchen never hurts!Cons:Potential Hiding Places: A few reviewers mentioned that some small bits of garlic can get stuck in nooks and crannies. However, with the included cleaning tool, this shouldn't be a major issue.Price: This press might be slightly more expensive than some basic models. However, the ease of use, cleaning, and overall quality might justify the cost for frequent garlic users.Overall:If you're looking for a garlic press that makes mincing effortless and cleaning a breeze, the Joseph Joseph CleanForce is a fantastic option. It's sturdy, versatile, and lives up to its claims. While the price might be a touch higher, the convenience and time saved make it a worthwhile investment for any kitchen.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to take the hassle out of garlic prep!

They've thought of everything!
Over the 50+ years of my life (so far) I've owned all manner of garlic crushing contraptions. Yes, I know how to finely chop the stuff using a knife, but some recipes really do benefit from having crushing the stuff.Until recently, I've been using another Joseph Joseph garlic crusher:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Joseph-Garlic-Crusher-Dishwasher-Stainless-dp-B01ATV4O2O/dp/B01ATV4O2O/ref=dp_ob_title_kitchenLooks nice and shiny in the photos but, after prolonged use, specifically, cleaning the clogged holes, that shiny surface has peeled off the grille. Also, the fact it gets so badly coughed means the user either:A) wastes lots of their garlic by washing it down the sink during cleaningB) needs to spend ages pushing chunks the garlic through the clogged holes to salvage itThe model on this page uses both the front wiper mechanism and, brilliantly, has a small brush-like device stored in the handle. The stiff brush spikes align perfectly with the (clogged) holes on this device, one quick press, all those clogged pieces are pushed free. Turn that little brush-thingy around and the other (slightly curved) end can be used to scoop those little pieces out, extracting close to 100% of each piece of garlic you press. Magic. The handles seem sturdy without being overly bulky (at least, it fits my hand well), plenty of leverage to crush the garlic without feeling any strain. Aside from the messy the garlic is pressed through, the rest of this device is plastic. I believe it's dishwasher safe, but because cleaning any clogged pieces is so easy, I've found a quick rinse is so this needs.I cook almost every day, so I'm this is seeing as much use as it would get in any domestic setting. With all that in mind, I can't recommend this item highly enough, it's worth the little extra above the basic all-metal models.

Easy to use and clean
Great garlic crusher, very easy to use and clean, powerful handles make crushing effortless, large capacity so you can crush two at a time, really good quality, a bit more expensive than others but the quality shines through.

Clever
Smart bit of kit allows you to get the maximum out of your garlic. The extra bit that clips into the handle does make it easier to clean but I have yet a find a garlic press where cleaning out the little holes is easy! However this is easier than most.

Lovely product, but not for Arthritics
A really good garlic press, sadly if you are like me and suffer from arthritis, then, like me you won’t be able to use it, but it has gone to a worthy home.😉

A godsend!
The best garlic press I have ever owned! I bought this to replace my very old stainless steel one so wanted one that would last a long time. This looks to be it. It's sturdy and does the job with ease. I peel my cloves before pressing them which means that I can use it all and the skins don't get caught up in the cavity or anywhere else making it an easier job to clean. You can fit many cloves in at once and the little clearance lever works really well. After clearing out the residue using the handy little tool, I just simply rinsed under fast running water and it was as clean as a whistle again ready for it's next use. I cook a lot with garlic and this feels as though it will stand the test of time, money well spent.

Easy to use and easy to clean
We have never had a garlic press that is so easy to clean. Everybody likes to use it! It also looks very strong and so won't break (like the last one we had)
