They work, but make sure you shoe is big
These did the job as advertised (prevented the big toe joint from flexing), but made my feet hurt because of the room they take up in the shoe. I'd recommend using them in a shoe one size bigger than you normally wear.

They worked great for my son, they helped him in his wrestling shoes.

These are terrible.
They shift constantly in your shoes, sliding back until they are almost in the middle of the shoe. Don't buy them.
