This is amazing - purchased for my disabled mother-in-law, she uses it daily. She only has one working arm, so being able to cut and pickup her food is a challenge, but this gadget works a treat. Mainly, as it is quite robust and weighty - normal forks are light, so not as easy for her. Highly recommended for anyone in a similar situation, or looking to gift someone with a disability such as hers..

It does work and I've got used to its weight and shape BUT near in might the following:The prongs are curved a little more than most forks and I've bashed my teeth a number of times. The fork is a lot bulkier and hence heavier than normal ones and tends to fall off the plate easier unless you really make sure it is securely on the plate. These are not really negative points, just some tips. As I say, it works fine and most importantly does not deform. Oh, one last thing, the edge for cutting is not really a sharp edge like a knife (which I was expecting it to be). It's actually a beefed up fork edge.

Excellent quality, I bought these forks for our stroke club, everyone finds them so easy to use with one hand. No sharp edges to cut you mouth but enough of a edge to cut most things. No more someone having to cut up food for you, gives you back your independence, and they look and feel good too.

I’ve used Knorks for years so when I saw my dad struggling to hold a knife I purchased one for him.It makes cutting up food and eating quicker and easier.It gives you independence too.Lovely design with a good weight that doesn’t slip out of your hand. It doesn’t stand out against other cutlery so you don’t need to worry about how your table will look when laid out for dinner.Easy to clean it doesn’t dull through dishwasher use.Bottom line - yes, I’d buy more of these.

Very attractive piece of cutlery have broken my fingers on one hand and been unable to use two pieces of cutlery. Comes in an nice package to store in bag and looks discreet. Haven’t used it yet but will be sure to update when I do as I’m yet to see the sharp cutting side of fork but will put to the testUsed last night and cut through food fine and will not be conscience of how I was eating anymore Was a little difficult cutting through meat but understand that as if you had more of a sharp edge on fork it would cut your tongue.I am buying now in 2021 for my mother in law as having difficulty with joints Best looking i can find and for me very useful
