Extremely useful for setting my Nikon d3500 up as a webcam giving me continuous power. Nicely packed fits perfectly without any issues.

This works as it should, for my Nikon DS3400. I wasn't sure how long the cables would be, but I hoped they would allow me to mount my camera on a Rode 'professional studio boom arm' and power it for long sessions of Youtube video shooting. And this turned out to be the case. The cable from the 'false battery' reaches the 'elbow' of the boom arm, where the cable from the adaptor can be plugged in. This comfortably extends down the boom arm and then down to the floor where the adaptor sits, with the power/plug cable adding an extra couple of feet. My only reason for deducting a star is perhaps the materials could be of a better quality. The cables and boxes are not the highest grades of plastic. Despite assurances that there are numerous 'safety cut-offs' regarding voltages/ampages and overheating, there is a warning about the latter, advising to switch the thing off every few hours. Only time will tell if that becomes an issue.

This AC Power Supply Adapter is a must have for a longer photo or video sessions. It works perfect when you take time lapses, lots of long exposure photos, or perhaps even stream using your DSLR camera.I use this with my Nikon D5200.The dummy battery fits perfectly the battery compartment, the cable is long enough to reach the flior/ground or the nearby power socket even from the tallest tripod.It is a very useful device and I can't really fault it. The only things that can be improved are the listing text should be proofread as there are some errors and the price is not the best as there are the same devices available cheaper.Overall great piece of kit and I would definitely recommend it.

This works well, it doesn't over heat, fits snug in my camera without any wobble and charges fine. What more could you want

Initially I was very impressed with the speed at which it arrived in Portugal from the UK 3 days early and it appeared to work very well, great for time-lapse photography no need to worry about the battery running out mid time-lapse, the issue I found and is quite an annoying and important one was when I filmed video i found it gave and electrical interference buzzing humming noise on the Audio, I adjusted Mic levels up and down and it still produced and electrical interference with the Audio I swapped out the dummy battery for a normal nukon Battery and the issue disappeared immediately I reinstalled the dummy battery power supply and the interference transfered on the Audio came back, this is the main reason I got the dummy battery for shooting long YouTube videos so infact I essentially can't use it for photos it's great but if your planning on shooting videos beware the audio interference, this is OK if your laying a music track over the top but if your talking to the camera is is useless.
