Leaks Like A Sieve
I connected this to the filter on my fish tank and it leaked from every seal. As I tried to tighten one of the connectors it snapped in two pieces. I've tried to cover the broken connection with silicon, and I'll see if it works better after it sets. I did take the casing apart and added teflon tape to try and fix the leaks too.

Less than 2 Days to Crystal Clear Water
I've been very happy with this unit. I only ran it two days and my 130 Gallon pond is crystal clear. Very easy to setup and it has made a world of difference.I turned it off after 3 days and I'm curious to see if the green water comes back. If it does I know it'll be gone really quick.FYI: The fittings that come with the unit are 3/4 inch inside diameter.

Worked fine till I cleaned my filter
This was placed before my filter. Worked great, then unplugged so it would be off while I cleared the filter (via switch to clean) once done plugged it back in and basically heard the thing crack and shatter. Still have not opened it, but it sounded like the clear plastic casing around the bulb shattered. Very expensive for a months worth of use.

UV units are good for the aquarium!
Love this item, finally am able to use UV light to sterlize the water in my 40 gallon tank. I have a low GPH rated pump which needs water from the tank to this unit and directs the sterlized water back in. Does well against algae and it will kill most things floating inside the water column!

working like it's supposed to
Installed on pond (which was really green after a couple of weeks with no sterilizer). After two days, I could see the fish and a few more days the water was clear. Very satisfied.

Great sterilizer.
Purchased this to help with my green algae bloom I was struggling with for more than a month. Nothing worked for me, until I installed this sterilizer. In about a week my aquarium went from cloudy green where you couldn't even see the fish to crystal clear.Easy to install too.

Have owned product for over 3 months and no reduction ...
Have owned product for over 3 months and no reduction in algae on a 70 gallon tank with uv light running on a 75 GPH pump.
