Excelente herramienta, el corte es muy fino
The media could not be loaded. El filo de los dientes es sorprendente! Hay que tener cuidado con el manejo de estas herramientas ya que es fácil cortarse. Muy buena calidad!

Sharp and fine. Great quality as expected
I'm not a Japanese but I am confident of Japan products. I saw somebody else of Youbube used this saw for woodworking. Really love it. I couldn't wait to take a shot immediately after I got it. A bag comes together with the saw kit. It's very of Japan style. Each wrap of blades is simple but obviously packed elaborately. Good saw with thin blades make the cut surface fine and clean. I could saw without too much force. I'm going to test longer and hope it will work as expected all the time.

Expensive - But Excellent
I purchased this saw to cut holes in the back of my stereo console entertainment center (a very expensive one I might add).Once I predrilled a starter hole for the saw, it was easy cutting on a very thick composition board.I have several of the old plastic handled keyhole saws, but didn't want to take a chance on them not working to make a very smooth cut. This saw made very smooth cuts, with very little effort. Well worth the expense. Highly Recommend.

A steal for the price
The pros:The locking mechanism is surprisingly snug for an interchangeable blade system with different blade thicknesses. I haven't experienced any wobble yet where the blades meet the handle. The locking mechanism is the same as their replaceable ryoba saw so you could switch blades to say... an extra ryoba saw handle you have lying around and cut it down to the length of this red oak handle for a lighter handle that has a dimple catch for extra locking force. They are beautifully sharp and leave such smooth fine surfaces that when I ripped a small piece of pine it almost had the same shimmer that it would have from hand planing. Not quite, but close. If any sanding was needed I would feel confident going straight to 320 grit or whatever your finishing grit may be.They stay fairly straight through the cut. I'm a beginner with all of this but I noticed a huge difference between these and the cheap saws I had been using up until now which has saved me significant time on cleaning up cuts. The few cons:No dimple catch like the replaceable ryoba handle.Only the hardwood and keyhole saws are induction hardened which was not clearly stated in the product specs, only slightly hinted at. I'll be using these for softwoods, mostly paulownia, but it would be great if the info was more forthcoming before you lose three teeth on the 7" dozuki while slowly sawing a piece of red oak.Because they're so thin some of the unsharpened parts of the saw blades are sharp enough to slice your fingers open with little pressure like a paper cut. It's annoying but an easy enough fix with a small file, just something to be aware of before inserting a saw blade into the handle.I would absolutely buy these again knowing all of the small problems, and plan on buying more Kakuri products asap.

An ok saw for ripping, nice wooden handle.
I bought the saw for ripping of long stock to complement my cheap ryoba saws. It's getting the job done on par with them. The wooden handle has comfortable shape. It's ok, I was hoping it would bind less.

Paid a little more but got a little less
Expected a bit better experience for the investment; overall the saw is just “ok”
