It feels a little odd writing a glowing review for a toilet seat, but here I am—and for good reason. I’ve had this Mayfair Padded Toilet Seat with Chrome Hinges for nearly a year, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it’s held up.At such a low cost, I expected something temporary, but it’s outlasted other seats I’ve paid more for. The soft vinyl padding still looks great, the chrome hinges haven’t loosened or corroded, and it’s remained secure and comfortable through daily use.For something you don’t think about much, this seat delivers comfort and resilience in a way that’s surprisingly worth writing home about. I’ll definitely buy another when the time comes—but based on how well this one’s lasted, that may not be any time soon.

Impressed with the quality and overall mounting assembly. The mounting bolts are stainless, thread into the fixed toilet seat mounting tabs , and are held down with plastic nuts. The design allows for the seat to be securely tightened down and ease of cleaning. The only odd aspect is that the nuts are two piece, so once the nut has been tightened, the top portion breaks off. Just be careful that the ratchet doesn't hit the toilet once this happens. Other than that, the padded portion is nice with some firmness and the seat stays firmly in the up position, which other seats fail to do so. Have never had a padded seat split, but they have yellowed after a couple of years, so will see how this seat fairs. Considering the quality and the secure mounting, it's worth the extra money.

The media could not be loaded. This looks so nice in my bowl. We’re in the process of doing a bit of work in this half bath and the bolts broke on my previous seat, so I decided to get something I’d like to go with what the new decor will look like. The chrome look for the attachments make this look so elegant, clean, and fresh. But what I was looking for was something that wouldn’t move around or break so easily. The ads and reviews said this would do the trick for me. I just installed it and I’m telling you it couldn’t be more secure unless it was made with it attached. It’s extremely easy to install, very soft on my tussy, and adds such a nice clean look to such a small place. The bolts to secure it to the bowl is solid and screws into the mounting hardware very snuggly. The there’s a hard plastic piece that keeps the bolts part from moving around and also screws very securely into the nut portion with a break off part once secured firmly. I mean you truly can’t get a better fit than this.Secure fit, classy, fresh, clean look to add to the beauty of the decor, and extremely soft. What more could I possibly ask for? It fits every desire and I highly recommend this seat to everyone (no matter how delicate your tussy is 🤪😉🤣).

I bought this seat in March of this year 2023. I love it. I bought it for my RV porcelain toilet. The seat is solid and the cushion is perfect. Since installation it has not lossened at all! The metal hinge has not allowed the seat to slide. It has stayed in place for 7 months. It looks great. The hole is a little small. But works. About 2 weeks ago the seat started splitting. I sent them an email for a warranty replacement a few days ago. The warranty is for 1 year when you purchase. They responded the next day. I sent pictures and proof of my purchase from Amazon. I received and email today letting me know that they are sending a replacement. It was an easy process and they responded quickly.I highly recommend buying this toilet seat. It is great quality and comfortable. The installation was easy. The metal hinges stay tight, never loosen, and it is easy to clean. The best padded toilet seat I found. Great value. And the price is great!

I honestly never thought I would be writing a review for a toilet seat. However, I just have to say this is the second time I have ordered these and I am so pleased with them. My biggest problem with a toilet seat is they always eventually loosen up and slide, then you have to tighten them over an over again.These Mayfair Padded Toilet Seats put an end to that. I did not believe it the first time I tried them. Put the seat on according to the instructions, tightened them the way they described and never had to worry about them again.In time all vinyl seats wear or crack, that is just life. However, I had these for a long, long time. Longer than any other brand. I was very pleased to find that I could still order the exact same brand and kind again. Maybe I should order more for a backup. I would hate not to be able to get them in the future if I need them.I never thought I would be rating a toilet seat as 5 star but they truly are.Oh yeah, they are super comfortable - a real plus.

Not sure how long ypu should expect a cushion toilet seat to last but we're approaching 4 yrs in a few months. The color started changing about 2 yrs in right around 3 yrs, it started to crack. At 4 yrs the material is coming off. Comfort wise, it's sufficient, decent quality and easy installation. If you plan to change in 2-3 yrs, it's ok. Definitely NOT a long term solution!

I bought this on Prime Day for 20.00 plus some change.I love the chrome, it's very unlike others. It's plush and soft when I tested it out. But the real test is when my partner sits on it for an hour! All in all, it's attractive. It made my old, standard toilet look like a fancy hotel toilet with the chrome fixtures, much nicer then the vinyl covers with cheaper toilet seat covers. I put it on myself as a woman. I needed no tools at all, per the instructions. I was able to tighten everything up with my fingers. Either way, it gave me incentive to get on my knees and clean the walls behind my toilet, that I neglect when I do ordinary bathroom cleaning.
