I’ve been buying a different brand of durable hair ties that you can get at any drugstore or whatever-mart. The brand name ones are pictured above with the round bead - brand name starts with G and ends with oody:) I mention this because these are the hair ties I was needing to replenish when I found these other far superior and less expensive hair ties. The Funtopia hair ties are just as stretchy, and bounce back to the same size pretty reliably. I stretched both over a clipboard that’s about nine inches wide and took before and after pictures. The Funtopia hair tie has an oblong connection bead that doesn’t snag any hairs - the round bead on the other brand tends to capture a few strands every time. I’m sometimes lazy and slept with my hair in a messy bun with a Funtopia tie - did not pull one precious hair out of my head. I also really like that the Funtopia hair tie has a satiny/silky feel to the weave. They just feel premium. These are marketed to be worn on your wrist when you don’t need them in your hair. I can fit them on my wrist, but it’s not comfortable- I do have larger wrists at 7 inches though. And even at that I did leave the Funtopia tie on my wrist for a few hours. I have thick wavy ish hair, husband has thick wild curly waves and teenager has long slick waves - keeps all hairs tied where you tie them until you decide it’s time to take that ponytail down. No saggy ponytails, no readjustments. I just really love these. The plastic box that they come in is unnecessary and I do wish I could opt out. Will by more in the future - not because I expect these to crap out, but I’m 100% sure that they’ll disappear to the same place that chapsticks and bobby-pins do, in addition to likely being purloined by the teenager’s friends.

I have thick naturally kinky curly hair, most of the time I break the normal hair bows you'd find at the grocery store but not these. They are perfect for my and my daughter's hair. They are very thick so if you don't have thick hair the only thing you could use them as is ponytail hair ties which makes them perfect for afro puffs.

These hair ties are quite thick and can hold a high ponytail without any trouble. However, the elastic breaks fairly quickly and I go trough them pretty fast. I do believe that the number of hair ties for the price makes up for the lack of durability.

These hair ties are not only so cute but also have great quality and are inexpensive. I have seen these sold $20/piece so these are a bargain! Will definetly purchase more.

Very happy with these does exactly what it should and holds my long hair where is should be all day long. (admittedly that's in a ponytail)
