Star Wars: Thrawn Series Books 1 - 3 Collection Set by Timothy Zahn (Thrawn, Alliances & Treason) Paperback – January 1, 2021

Got these for my Husband and he loves them and has read the whole series, he is a big Star Wars fan.

Found a great price for the set of Zahn's "new" Thrawn trilogy. The set appeared to be a UK edition, perfect shape. So far, I'm through the first book and Alliances. Will update whenever I get through Treason.The "s/t" Thrawn book follows his "rescue" from exile by the Empire and his subsequent ascension up the ranks to Grand Admiral. I love that Zahn gets right to it with Thrawn very quickly in the book meeting with granddaddy Palps.Alliances is a era-shifting tale detailing GA Thrawn's mission to Batuu with Darth Vader, while flashing back to his prior alliance with Anakin on the same planet. I like how Zahn ties in Thrawn's failure at Atollon to this story.

One of the most underrated characters in the Star Wars universe is given a 5-star development by Timothy Zahn. Best SW trilogy I’ve ever read; had to fight off my kids so I could finish it first before they secluded themselves in a room to DEVOUR all three books in rapid succession. The history and rise of Thrawn to his lofty position, his mindset and intersecting loyalties are all vividly captures in this stirring gift to the SW canon by T.Zahn. The galaxy-spanning war, Tharen’s cometlike ability to draw people into his wake, his brilliant analytical style and his rivalry with a certain white-caped rival over which no one (***Spoiler alert***) wept at during the end of Rogue One are all skillfully woven into a tapestry far above most derivative work in Lucas’ space opera. Read it. Learn from it. Memorize it. Thrawn.

Bought as a gift for Christmas! Husband isn't a big reader but loooooves star wars! He's been actively reaching for these books rather than TV or games at the end of the day, so I'd say they must be pretty good!

I enjoyed reading this series by Timothy Zahn. I have read other Star Wars books by him. It keeps you engaged with the characters and sometimes I had a hard time putting it down!
