I'm always on a hunt for products that work as well as described. I have acne prone skin and cystic acne. I mean my face is a hot mess. And there is a layer of oil on the top that makes me look like I'm constantly sweaty. Its gross. But this product has really helped with some of these issues. It's not a miracle product and it doesnt cure anything. But I've been using it for a month now and it doesnt make me breakout, it doesnt let my face get stupid oily and it feels good on the skin. It is moisturizing but what is super cool is that its lightweight. I know for everyone things work differently and I'm so happy that this works for me.Upon receiving the product, there was a little card that thanked me for buying from a small business which I wasnt aware that this was. I feel like small businesses always put a bit more effort in their products. These guys nailed the product. I recommend this to everyone with similar problems to mine! It isn't going to work for everyone because we are all different, but I have very( i can't emphasize enough) sensitive skin and this worked for me. So I'm going to advocate for this product.

I have very oily skin that causes major breakouts and I'm 38 years old. I have never worn a moisturizer before because I could never imagine the need for it when my face is so oily. Many cleansers for oily skin tend to over dry my face, which then makes it produce more oil than needed.After learning WHY I should use a moisturizer on oily-skin, I found Oil Control from Concept Skin and tried it out. I was amazed by how well it absorbed into my skin and soothed it right after washing it. It does not feel greasy AT ALL. With this moisturizer, my skin is soothed and the oil is balanced and seems to cut way down compared to without it. Applying it before bed is awesome because I can wake up without an oil slick on my nose.It also has blemish control in it and I love that I just apply ONE product to my face for oil-control and acne. I am lazy when it comes to stuff like this and tend to give up on them. I am actually writing this review while ordering my 2nd bottle! I hate going a day without it on my face and can feel a huge difference in the oil on my skin.For reference, I use 2 pumps on cream on my skin after washing it.

It definitely dries matte and is not greasy, controls oil too much and is drying. It isn't really a moisturizer, more of an acne preventer in the way of an oil controller. If you have combo skin, only use in the really oily areas, not all over.

This product was absolutely moisturizing, sheer and lightweight. Unfortunately, it did not provide any oil protection for me. I had to reapply several times to keep the shine at bay. This is a very nice product for light oily maintenance.

I have tried so many products that claimed to moisturize, mattify and minimize pores (age 66, oily/combo skin). None came even close to what Lauda Oily Skin Control Moisturizer does, (one was fair but it was discontinued several years ago). I use a tiny amount on my face overall (nothing before) and it immediately feels unbelievably soft and smooth; the pores are minimized and my skin feels like skin, not oily sand paper. The first time I used it I went grocery shopping and to the library, 87 degrees and ridiculous humidity and it was still working eleven hours later, still smooth and no shine! I applied my usual mineral powder over it with a brush and it seemed to look better than usual. Ingredients include several botanicals, which I like. Please don't change this formula! This product is amazing, i have struggled with cystic acne for years, i have tried 4 different medications and almost every OTC face wash you could try, no success. Started using this product a little less than a week ago and i already notice a decrease in acne! I have naturally oily skin and still notice my oily skin but it has gone down, hopefully it will continue to decrease as i continue to use the face wash, toner, and moisturizer on a regular basis!There were some reviews that i had read in regards to the product smelling bad, i wouldnt say it smells bad. The face wash smells like koolaid, the moisturizer i cant really pinpoint what it smells like, tea tree oil maybe?

This product smells like cinnamon so if you like fireball or red candies it’s for you. Personally I liked the smell. It was light weight and a nice primer for me. The thing I didn’t like was it didn’t control my oily skin which is why I bought it. My skin was oily again an hour after using it. Didn’t help the oil or the matting of my makeup. Won’t be purchasing again Bc it’s just not right for my skin. Which is very oily. Also didn’t help breakouts but also didn’t make them worse. So it’s a safe to use it your worried about acne causing issues. Also it’s a great buy for your money. A little goes along way. Have had for couple months and still have plenty left.

This is the only oil control moisturizer that actually DOES seem to be controlling my oils. And I have ridiculously oily skin. I’ve been trying to find effective products for years and years to help me with it, because it just really annoys me to no end. This moisturizer seems to be balancing my skin. My face doesn’t look or feel as oily since I’ve been using it. Thankfully, I’m not acne prone, but I like the fact that this moisturizer has salicylic acid in it. Everyone breaks out at least sometimes, even if it’s only a little, and it’s good to know that this moisturizer has an ingredient that will help clear it up or stop it before it starts. I will definitely purchase this again. I’m glad I found it. I use it only in the morning though, because I use a retinol gel at night, and it’s not a good idea to use a salicylic acid product and retinol at the exact same time. This moisturizer also helps keep me from having makeup meltdown. It seems to help my matte primer and powder more effective at keeping the shine away.
