I am thrilled with my purchase of the 8" Pruning Shears! These shears are not only affordably priced but also deliver outstanding performance.I primarily use these shears for maintaining my raised beds and tackling unruly blackberry bushes in my garden, and they have exceeded my expectations. The sharp blades effortlessly cut through thick branches and tough stems, making pruning and trimming tasks a breeze.The build quality of these shears is exceptional. The blades are sturdy and durable, ensuring clean and precise cuts with every use. I go through pruners every year. They apparently grow feet and walk away. As such, I don't get very expensive pruners. These pruners are nice because they are very sharp and comfortable to grip. The red grips are a nice touch because I won't lose them as easily. (a fluorescent color would be even better and easier to spot) The only issue I have with the pruners is the locking mechanism. You have to squeeze the grips together firmly to engage the lock. It took awhile to figure that out. Once I mastered that, I found that unlocking the pruners was as easy as squeezing the grips.Recommended!

I needed a pruner and this is a great affordable option. Easy to use, nice and sharp. The only issue is that the lock is spring loaded and insanely sensitive. The slightest touch unlocks it. So, I pried the end of the spring out of place a bit so it only unlocks when I manually do so. If you have a small tool to do something like that, I recommend it.

Nice and sharp, perfect size for my hand. Sturdy construction.

It's made of metal and has a good solid feel, with a very sharp blade that cuts easily. Great value for an excellent garden tool.

Don't know cause they were knew,but cut through rose bush no problem

These pruners are nice and very sharp! They get the job done and should last for years. My issue with the pruners is the latching mechanism. I like to carry my pruners in my pocket but this pruner is always coming unlatched in my pocket and the blade tip slices thru my pocket into the pant leg! I now have three pairs of work pants I have had to sew in that same area... LOL Please fix the latch

These are amazing. They trim effortlessly. I have issues with my hands but I find them easy to use. The locking mechanism is a little tricky, but still fairly easy to use. Just watch out for your fingers!
