Almost gave up!
Ok, just thought I'd leave a quick review (as I always rely on reviews before purchases.) I went through 3 screens and almost gave away the extra pack I bought. I tried one more time and doubled the exposure time (using speedball light included in kit) and it finally worked washed clean like a dream, 2 mins tops. 1st screen I screwed up because black paper shifted and wasn't fully under my design so part didn't burn all the way. 2nd screen I stopped rinsing too soon because it looked clear but wasn't clear enough but it had been like 5+ mins so didn't clear enough for paint to pass through. 3rd, I still did the recommended 1 min. but rinsed for like 10 mins and my design started to wash in places it wasn't supposed to and design got "soggy" looking because all the emulsion wasn't washing away. 4th and final time, 2 min exposure, washed off easily & quickly. My design was also a little detailed (distressing) and none of the small pieces washed away!!!! Hope this helps someone not have the same issues I had and save $ and frustration!!

Needs better tips for beginners
First screen printing I've done in 25 years, and got the kit because this is a "one off" project. It's a nice kit, and got it mostly because it came with a light, the most important part.Surprised that there is no instructions for mounting screen to frame??For you beginners, just stick it to the frame, with double sided tape. Don't bother wrestling with the plastic cord. Also a nice piece of 1/4" glass is great to hold everything down for a good clean exposer.Another tip is use a good sprayer for cleaning the screen.A kitchen sink sprayer is OK, but I've always used a welding tip clamped into a hose. It really gets the fine details out.If you are working with the unmounted screen, lay it on small window screen when washing it out. Also spend an extra $10 and get a real wood handled squeegee, 75 durometer is good general purpose. You can use a hand saw to cut it to length, or buy one just for that size screen.Have Fun..KRASH

Fine details fail
I used it for a fine screen printing but it misses very small details in the print

Read this review before using.
I bought this brand over ez screen because it came with the light. It took forever for the burned image to wash out. It worked better when I left it under the light for 2 minutes . But I still didn’t like how long I had to have my water running. DO NOT try to creat one image on a sheet. I wasted two sheets. Sacrifice one sheet and cut a couple small squares out of the corner to test . When you watch the video it’s hard to notice the time lapse when she is rinsing. It took a lot longer than 3 minutes but don’t stop rinsing until all the emulsion has dissolved. On my first attempt I panicked when I say it (melting/ dissolving) and quit rinsing. On my second attempt I rinsed it so long that the emulsion began to dissolve in areas that weren’t even burned. My third attempt I burned it for 2 minutes and even though it still took a while to dissolve tge emulsion it finally work a lot better and I ended up with a useable screen. But this is a product I will be wanting to buy more of and upon further investigating I found that the EZ SCREEN is much much cheaper and was MUUUUUCH easier to use. BUUUUUT when you buy that kit you don’t get a light. I had only bought the extra screens. I used them with the light I got from the speedball kit and it worked. Extra speedball screens come out to cost 1.20 per sq inch and EZ SCREEN sheets come out to .89¢ per sq inch. Plus the Burned image on the EZ SCREEN comes out super easy and you soak them as opposed to rinse. (Less water waste) Bottom line is that if I could redo my purchase. I would get the EZ SCREEN and buy the right light .

Fun Project
This set of tools was ideal for experimenting with crafting greeting cards. I enjoyed the process and had great results. The instruction packet is in several languages but some tactics of production were unclear in the written instructions.; I depended upon the Speedball videos for optimal instruction. This set piqued my interest in screening more projects.

Pretty good.
Very fine detail is a bit of a gamble, but they do work well and easily. I post exposed for an extra 30 seconds on the second screen I made with these and it held up better.
