This watch is awesome. Has more functions that I will ever use. World time, 5 alarms, Chronograph with laps and even can calculate velocity. It is a G-Shock so you know it will last almost forever. Comes with a great tin case and papers. 51 mm so it's kind of big for the people who like big watches. Also you can program the light to turn on every time you flick your wrist. Also has a little lume at the tip of the hands, not much. Buttons can be difficult to press but that's to ensure no water or dust can penetrate the module, besides is not as hard as the mudman.Now the cons. The light is kind of week. Also this particular module has a negative display, so the digital part is very hard to read at nigh, very hard. And. Last it can be very difficult to set the first time. I will strongly suggest looking for a tutorial before the watch arrives so you can be prepare for setting it. Don't be discouraged, get the tutorial first. At the end of the day it's a great watch for little money.

Let me first start off by saying this is one of the best pieces released by Casio in the G-shock series.It is my first G-shock and I couldn't be more pleased.I was searching for a nice looking G-shock for almost a month before I came across this watch and there was not another second I wasted to order this. The shipping was super fast and this watch didn't disappoint a bit.Looks: Stunning watch. Has the sturdy G-shock military look to it as well as the dark Colors and the design gives it a sophisticated look. This watch can go well on all occasions (office, sports, fancy dinners etc.). I should though mention that the piece I got did not have the light-bluish color that is shown in the picture. Instead it is slightly greyish which by the way looks quite cool.The size of the watch is perfect. It is not as big as the specifications make it sound. I have medium sized wrists and it looks great. Looking at the size I can safely say that it will look fine on slightly smaller wrists as well.Built: This is a solidly built watch as you would expect from a G-shock. This is a very light watch which was a pleasant surprise. The wrist band is plastic and has teeth on the underside of it which keeps the band loop in place.Features: This watch has all the features that you expect from a normal G-shock. I don't think it has the moon phases and stuff that is coming with some of the new G-shocks but I don't need that anyway. One thing I wish was to have solar battery. Unfortunately this has a normal battery which runs up to 2 years according to the manual.CON: The only issue with this watch is the back-light. It is actually a bunch of LEDs (edit below) around the dial that light up. This will only illuminate the analog part of the watch, so you can easily see the time. But the digital part is INVISIBLE until you shine a flashlight directly into it. Now, this could be a major issue for many, but for me it is not really a big deal.---EDIT: As one of the readers pointed out, it is actually only 1 LED light at 6 o'clock position which lights up. The light though reflects across the different chrome/steel hour markers which can give the illusion that it has small LEDs all around.Over all I just love this watch. The looks blew me away, the price is decent, and the built is a perfect. Features are nothing over the top but has almost all the ones you would expect. I believe this will be one of the most popular G-shocks in the future. If you are planning to buy a G-shock other than this one, think twice :)

Damn fine watch. Rugged, battery changed only once. Tells the time and the date. I went through smart watches and other watches but this is my daily work watch. Reliable, simple and does what it needs to do. Tell me the time and the date. If I need to check my messages then I check my phone, if I need a GPS then my phone and I don't need to charge it. Paid the same price I did 10 years ago.

The good:- Waterproof!- Stylish- Analog hands automatically set themselves based on digital time settings (very cool to see for the first time).- Light weight.- Wrist band doesn't slip or stick out even if you have small wrists (like me).- Very comfortable.- Abundance of amazing features you'll never use like - seeing time in other time zones - stop watch - countdown timer - speed/distance tracker.The bad:- LED light could be brighter.Other things to point out, but didn't affect my rating:- The blue you see on Amazon isn't there. It's actually a dark grey (almost as black as the rest of it). I've attached a more accurate picture.- The watch can be set so that the light automatically turns on when you lift your arm to angle the watch toward your face in a natural position (40 degrees, I think).Overall: Awesome watch!EDIT: After owning this watch for 3 years, I gotta say I'm super happy with it still! I wear it daily. I take it off while sleeping and showing most of the time (but not always). I'm a very active scout leader and this thing has survived through countless camps, canoe trips, backpacking trips, swim events (always worn), etc. This is hands-down the best watch I've ever owned! Even after 3 years, it still runs and looks like it's brand new!

La verdad ya tenía mucho tiempo que quería un G-SHOCK en color negro y cuando lo compré casi no habían fotos en las opiniones, pero el modelo me gusto bastante. Muy buen reloj la verdad y muy buena compra, por el costo vale la pena

LOVE this watch! It has a good weight to it, and it looks badass! yeah the indiglo light does suck.. it's yellowish in color, and you can't really see the time in the dark.

Strong!!! No other words to describe this watch. I used to work in the worst conditions by wearing this watch. After almost 2 years of use still has no scratch or dents on this watch.

Great watch, worn mine everyday for 7 months now. Very solid, great matte colour. Feels like the one knife I have I would want to take into a zombie apocalypse with me.
