Purchased 2" rings for a leak. The Sch40 specification in a catalog 2.375". Plus or minus 0.006". I used calipers to measure mine and it was 2.380" which is in spec. The ring was very tight to snap on, and the moment I pushed into place the ring separated. Even though I could move the ring over the dry pipe, riding over the primer and glue was too much for the locking mechanism. Thinking back, I should have stopped and returned the item as defective because the inside diameter was not large enough to easily slide over the pipe. The product is a neat idea, put it failed in the application. I now have a butchered joint.

Work reasonable at best. Sealed one leak but it is an effort to get the ring around the pipe with pvc glue.

Spent an hour trying to make these fit on 2" PCV. Concept is great...product will not clip closed on the pipe!

Unfortunately, the product did not work as advertised. Although my PVC leak has slowed; the joint still leaks. Now that I have used the product in the field, I realize the problem is that you can't abut the Leak-B-Gone ring close enough to the existing PVC coupling to make a solid glue joint because there is always going to be old glue from the original joint that gets in the way. This product might work if you first painstakingly remove all of the old glue from the original joint, but that step is not found anywhere in the instructions.

Bought 2” clamps to fix a slow joint leak on a 2” PVC after watching a video that showed a guy effortlessly clamping on a pipe. Actual product does not clamp though and therefore doesn’t work. Spent hours even using pliers to try and get them to close enough to clamp, to not avail. Unfortunate as they are expensive and also don’t work.
