No longer anti-spark
Ordered 4 packs, none contained any actual "AS" anti-spark terminals. This seller used to put anti spark terminals for half the connectors, now none are anti spark.

Great, Non-Sparking, Connectors!
These are good connectors but expensive. Very easy to solder 10AWG stranded copper wire to and screw on the plastic cover. I am using these to attach 20 LTO 64.8V batteries to a breaker box using 2-pole 20AMP breaker switches and back feeding my batteries through it. I wanted to be able to disconnect and connect each battery on the shelving I made for my battery bank and these did the trick. Each battery will be charged to 60V @ 45AMP so, these might be overkill but, I prefer to be safe. Just remember that six pair of these are only enough for three connections. I would much rather see them sold in packs of 10 pairs.

These Are Great Connectors
I purchased these connectors for a RC airplane. The connector that came with the plane would get so hot that it almost melted the connector. I bought the AS150 connectors and installed them on my Lipo batteries and airplane. This solved the overheating issue completely. They are easy to solder and the housings screw on easily. I recommend these connectors especially when using 5000 MAH batteries or higher.

Excellent high current connector, the best overall design in the Amass lineup
PROS:– The connector uses a spring around the slotted barrel to provide the mating pressure on a solid pin (unlike any other Amass connector to date). This is a great feature, as it allows for consistent mating pressure throughout the useful life of the connector, i.e. it is unlikely to become loose as time goes on. To top it off, the spring is replaceable. Other connectors that have this feature are Deans Ultra and Anderson PowerPoles - and neither has a replaceable spring. Of course, Deans Ultra are only 30A continuous, and are no longer produced (though decent knockoffs are still available). The comparable Anderson connector (PP75) is more expensive and quite a bit bulkier.– The connected resistance of these AS150 is 0.2 mOhm as measured by my Extech, which is right on the nose, consistent with the claims. Comparison wise, Amass’ own 8mm bullet connector checks at about 0.18 and Anderson PP75 takes the cake with 0.13 mOhm (but it is also bulkier and heavier). See the photos.– For a 150A continuous current, the connector is surprisingly compact and I cannot think of any application with that much current where they won’t fit. See also the size comparison next to Anderson PP75.– Either pin or barrel are fully covered by their housing, thus allowing to wire connections with the same gender per side or alternate like in the old days, while still enjoying full protection from the shorts.– Price-wise, for this combination of features, the connector is actually quite inexpensive, especially compared to “legit” brand-name offerings. For example, Anderson PP75 would cost about 2.5x as much, and, say, Amphenol won’t even start below $25+ per connection.CONS (not really, but still):– The housing could be a hair thicker.– The mounting thread could be a little longer.– Tin or silver plating would be preferable to gold for better conductivity.– Offer a crimp version (now that everyone seems to have a hydraulic crimper anyway).None of these cons would merit knocking down a well earned 5-star rating though. If you are still searching for a better high current connector - this is the one you want.
