I was back and forth on this one. With what i had read on other reviews I wasn't sure. But I am glad I bought these. I did notice what others was saying about the charging issue. But it's not an issue honestly. When you put it on charge it doesn't start right away. So what. The battery was charged when it came time to use it. That is all that matters. For the price of these the quality and performance is awesome. I just started a 16'x12' add-on. Over 1 and half 25# buckets of 4" screws and still have 2 bars on the same battery. I will be getting some more.

Purchased in April, in June it no longer works. Charger does not recognize battery or charge it, effectively becoming a pair of $65 door stops.

Poor preformance-update
I purchased 2 of those batteries to supplement my original KOBALT 4Ah battery. I was expecting it to be on par with the OEM capacity and run-time; that's not the case at all. Those batteries deliver about 1/2 the runtime of the 4Ah OEM battery. Advertised 6AH doesn't come close. it turns itself off and intermittently restarts with 2 out of 4 LEDs still showing charge; I am guessing its due to the internal temperature, as when it cools off, it starts powering again. Looking at power density as a factor of weight, those batteries weigh ~10% less than my 4Ah OEM does (718g vs. 790g). I will replace those with OEM batts.Now you know what you're purchasing.Update: 10/10/24The Seller has reached out and because of their exceptional customer focus, I've increased the " Overall Rating" to 4 stars.

Great replacement Kobalt batteries
Tested right out of the box, 3/4 charged, ran skills, blower, grinder, chainsaw w/o any issues.Both fully charged after testing.

For Customer Service
Had initial product replaced due to unknown cause for failure. I contacted Customer Service via Amazon-provided tools. When the new batteries were promptly delivered, I properly disposed of my pair. That was February 2023 and my replacements are still working. Most importantly is perhaps not that they stop working one day. Every battery going to “stop working” one day. It’s the idea that if they do before a very generous excess of more than 15 months full warranty, the battery will be replaced. I had no hassle or fuss. I didn’t even have to ask. They took ownership of the issue and resolved it. I’d rather this brand above others for that reason. It’s a great value for the money.

Eh. 6ah doubtful
Eh. Not sure if these are worth it. Will barely run my Kobalt circular saw. A Kobalt brand 4ah runs it fine. These will be ok for smaller tools but I don’t think they are truly 6ah. Lowes has the the 4ah’s on sale pretty often for a similar price. That’s probably the better option.
