This tire swing kit is pretty awesome. I used an old motorcycle tire and it worked great. I bought a length of chain to wrap around a tree limb and it worked like a champ. My only real issue is that after the first swing my daughter is absolutely terrified of it. Even if someone else is swinging. She will not have it. Maybe it will make a nice hanging planter. It would be the toughest hanging planter ever though. If only she liked it.

Made quick work of building a quality tire swing. My daughter loves it. We tested it with two adult men and the chains held just fine. Worth every cent. Two months on, and no issues.

chains were heavy duty, plastic coating was nice, but the quality of the threaded bolts and nuts not so good. one of the bolt ends pulled the threads and would not tightened completely. overall not bad for the price

These chains are a great option for making a tire swing. The load rating is high, and the pre-assembled connections for the tire are outstanding. The price is fair, too. However, the description and pictures are misleading. The chains are only covered about halfway. The remaining chain is exposed. This is not shown in the picture, nor is it described accurately in the product details. It would have been so much better if Swing-N-Play had just dipped the rest of the chain to coat it.
