Ivyu Pocket Scrunchies Hair Ties with Hidden Zipper Stash Cotton Scrunchy Ponytail Holder

Bought these for my girlfriend. She then cheated on me months later. Do not recommend.

It's a real hair tie that really works as a hair tie and a stash. Hair ties are probably one of the easiest things to make if you can sew. If you don't have the time to sew or you don't have fabric and zippers and thread and needles and elastic band just lying around it is worth it to just buy them. Or if you just want them in a hurry or don't feel like actually making them. They totally work. I've had them for a couple days and I've had no issues. The elastic inside is a very durable stretchy band. Even if something were to break on the hair tie it could be easily fixed. You have access to getting inside the hair tie with the zipper so you could easily replace the elastic band without having to cut it open. I would maybe suggest sewing or gluing the end of the zipper so you don't zip the zipper straight off the end? It looks like they cut the zipper to length and didn't sew it at the end. You don't really have to know how to sew super well you can just take a couple loops and bind it together. Just make sure you do it right at the end before the plastic part of the zipper stops. I like that the end of the zipper has the dangly part on it it makes it easy to grab and easy to tuck inside the hair tie when it's closed And if you are in the know that it's a stash container you can easily feel around and figure out how to get where you need to be pretty quickly.I added a video showing how I put double-sided tape on the white part that shows. Without doing this it's pretty noticeable where the zipper is and that they're even is a zipper in it which pretty much gives the whole thing away lol. BUT it doesn't take someone super crafty to easily fix this problem. Get some really thin double-sided tape strips (shown in the video/ bought from Amazon) measure and cut and stick it onto the white part and then fold the fabric over on top of it. That way the white part of the zipper is completely covered up and it's basically impossible to tell. If you put anything super stiff in there it might stick out so I suggest sticking to small things or at least something that is soft or easy to bend. Whatever things you might want to stash ;)I gave a couple away as presents and people loved them. The solid ones seem just a little bit cheaper and the patterned ones just look better.

This is one of the few hidden scrunchies where the zipper and zipper pull actually match the fabric. (Most others had white no matter what the fabric color is--very noticeable.) I docked one star because the elastic is a 1/4" elastic band (found in any craft shop) knotted together instead of sewn and I don't expect it to last long. On the other hand, because the elastic isn't sewn into the fabric, you can easily replace it yourself when you need to.

I bought this because I work a 2 hour shift at a school and didn’t want to bring in my whole purse every time. I just keep my car key fob inside it and throw it on my wrist and I’m good to go! Love it and I wish I had this when I was in college going out to bars!!

I ordered the pearl set of 4 because the zippers are the same color as the scrunchie so it’s more discreet and they work just as advertised. I went to the spa and was able to tuck my jewelry into them and wear them on my hair for safe keeping instead of leaving them in my bag. Will be great for those nights out when you just don’t want a bag.
