These solar lights are a very good product and will light up a stairwell easily and come with a built in motion sensor. I am updating my review on these after having them for quite a few months now and the seller backs up his products with great customer service. I have installed two more of these inside my 10 x 20 porch and also along the stairwells of the porch and they sense motion at least 10 feet away and light everything well with no other permanent light fixtures on. I initially installed them at 36 inches and had to lower them to 24 inches as they will blind you at the wrong height that is how well each fixture puts out. I also like the size as they are roughly 4x4 inches in size so not some bulky looking fixtures all over your home. I highly recommend these to anyone needing assisted lighting in dark locations.

I prefer the ones that stay on all night, then get brighter when something gets close. My Daughter on the other hand wanted these which are off until you get close and then they get as bright as about a 120 Watt bulb. Her husband put them on both sides of her parking place and she loves them. They stay on long enough for her to get into her house. No Maintenance and they stay charged even when the sun hasn't been out for days.I have these as well for the parking area at our farm. They are sensitive. A cat can set them off easily.Update: We have had these up for over 4 years now and they still work like they did when they were new. They are well worth the money.

Perfect! I got these for our little Pomeranian dog to light the deck steps and backyard when he has to go out to go out at night. I put the one on the steps low enough for him to activate it. Easy one-screw installation and even tho we had very little sunlight when I initially charged it, it works great and shines brightly.

These lights were not bright. One didn't work at all to sense movement. The tiny pin-hole with the startup function was impossible to tell if it worked or not. I will buy another brand.**************************Seller was quick to replace non-working item. I appreciate the effort and have upgraded to 3 starts. The product is still not bright and I would prefer an actual switch to operate rather than a pinhole. Will still be replacing with another brand.

Even in WY where the sun shines 4 hours a day these little guys were ready to power on the first few hours of sunlight charging. They work great and go off at the slights movement at least 20 feet away. I have these on both sides of my house where its extremely dark at night and one lights up the area. Because these only go off at night and when motion triggered I expect them to last a long time.

I love these lights!!!! My car is parked in a dark spot in the back of the house! We placed these lights on a corner of the garage. The lights come on as I walk to my car and the second comes on when I get to my car. I can see to unlock the car. When I come home, I can see my way to the house. Since I am a female, these lights makes a good security light. I was worried that with the winter season here that there wouldn't be enough sunlight to re-energizer the lights. So far it has not been a problem.

I like the rechargeable 18650 battery in this. I have it in the garage, so it doesn’t get enough light to stay bright. I like that I am able to recharge the battery once the light starts dimming. I don’t know if it recharges well on its own outdoors...

Work really well. I have them along my privacy fence so when my dogs are outside I can see where they are.
