These vanishing point pens are quickly becoming my favorite fountain pens. I have three of these, all with the extra fine nib. They write a thin line while still being fairly "wet" (putting out a good amount of ink on the page). I also am in love with the fact that these are so much easier and quicker than a conventional, capped fountain pen to open and write with and close again when finished.

I have been purchasing these pens for years. This particular style is very classy looking and I find my coworkers picking it up to use it. I prefer the medium nibs. I feel they write better than the fine or extra fine.

I've been using the Namiki retracting pens for at least 30 years, this is my third in that time so obviously they last a long time! The nib is smooth, and always ready to write. 'This one is lighter in weight than my 2 previous and I find it more comfortable. Pen never leaks, or dries up, (of course I use it a lot and keep it filled)

I love fountain pens. No one makes a better/affordable fountain pen than Pilot/Namiki. From the economical Metropolitan to these beautiful Vanishing Point pens. The extra-fine point is smooth and sharp. The white and black colors are very attractive and worth every cent. Highly recommended.

I love my little storm trooper. The EF nib offers feedback but is not scratchy. It is a bit dry, by nature of its size, so don’t try using any dry inks in it. However, it is a comfortable pen and a great daily driver at work if you have to do quick notes.
