This is a lovely, gentle cleanser that works perfectly for my dry, sensitive skin. I like using it in the morning or anytime my skin feels irritated or dehydrated. It cleans without stripping and leaves my skin feeling soft and calm. A great option if you're looking for something soothing and effective.

Wow! This brand is amazing and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I bought the cleanser, serum and gel moisturizer. I noticed an immediate improvement in my skin. Know a little bit of each of the 3 go a long ways. 2 of the 3 say pea sized amount and I’ve found a little less than that is perfect.What stands out most for me is the effectiveness of each. I’m a 57 yr old female with decent but dry skin and a few fine lines below my eyes. My skin is now smoother, more plump and more evenly textured across my whole face and neck and the effects last! I wear very little make up and all of it goes on a lot smoother now. I strongly recommend this brand for those looking for a quick but economical skin care regimen.

Excellent cleanser, dissolves in water to a nice texture, feels good on the skin. Washes completely away, leaving no residue. Leaves skin feeling soft, supple and hydrated. I've used this product for about 6 weeks every evening and most mornings. The 5oz size has lasted well. I've added this cleanser to my autoship items so I don't run out.

I don't have sensitive skin and skin is mostly dry. This facial cleanser feels gentle and very hydrating. It comes out close to the consistancy of a thick lotion. I get zero foaming with this product despite the products description that it is lightly foaming, doesn't bother me but thought I'd mention it. There was one major issue for me personally, thus the 4 instead of 5 star rating. I had been trying to place the smell after using is a few days. It dawned on me today that it definitely, and very unfortunately, smells like baby spit up. It isn't a harshly offensive odor, but it makes me pause applying it to my face...

I have 4 significant challenges when it comes to finding facial cleaners 1) I am over 50. 2) I have oily skin. 3) I have rosacea and 4) I live in Anchorage, AK. Finding a product that I can use is complicated and a lot of times I don't know immediately whether a given product will work for me, which is why I gave this cleanser 4 stars. I like the feel of it on my skin, it seems to do a good job of dealing with the oil without over-drying my skin and it seems like it isn't aggravating the rosacea. But I won't know for sure until I've used it for a while. If I am still as happy with it a month from now as I am at this time, I'll come back and update my review & raise my rating.All that being said, I think for most people with combination or sensitive skin, this would be a phenomenal cleanserUpdated 6/05/2018:I said that I would update my review after I had used this cleaner for awhile, so here's my update. I'm still thrilled with this product -- it has turned out to be the best face cleaner I've found for addressing all of my skin challenges.

This is my go-to daily/every-other-day face wash. I use it twice a day, typically, once in the morning and once at night while showering. The fact that I am able to use it twice a day speaks to how non-drying it is and non-irritating, as many other face-washes I've used in the past that are effective exfoliants tend to also dry my face out. I have combination skin that is slightly oily in my T-region but quite dry otherwise—and I lean more dry than oily so am always worried about face washes drying out my skin unnecessarily. That is not the case with the hada labo cleanser in my experience!Although I wouldn't say the formula is "moisturizing," I do think it is hydrating, in the sense that immediately after use, your face might feel a little tight / taut (and very clean!!); however, in the long run of ~a couple weeks of use, my overall level of hydration in my skin was much improved. Although I'm by no means a skin care professional, my guess would be that it's because this formula does a great job of actually cleaning out my pores and thus, right after washing, when I apply my serums and lotions, my skin is able to better absorb these hydrating and healing solutions thanks to this facewash.I'm a big fan of this face wash and would recommend it to anyone looking to try out a face wash that cleans without completely drying out your skin!

You can never go wrong with Japanese skincare and Hada Labo is one of my favorite brands.The cleanser is so ugly and rinsed so clean, leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth

Gentle, but leaves my face feeling tight and dry post cleansing. This might have more to do with the texture (cream vs. gel vs foam) than the ingredients. I have mature, oily to combo skin. I have switched to a Gel type cleanser and my face feels hydrated after. I love the Hado Labo Hylauronic plumping Gel Cream. A bit heavier than the Tatcha water cream but is less $$$ and leaves my skin feeling hydrated.
