HoMedics Deluxe Pulse Oximeter with Optimetrix Technology

Had this for two months and although the readings were accurate enough, it takes too long to get them. Had to replace the shipped battery before it would work. After installing a fresh battery it would display the readings after an approx 10 sec wait and sometimes refresh and sometimes would not. It displayed sporadically over the next two months, meaning, when touching the power button it would show the initiating screen (dashes) a small flashing bar and then would turn off. Press the on button again, initiating screen displayed, then maybe a reading, if a reading sometimes it would refresh sometimes not, sometimes turn off. It was purchased because of its claims to be accurate, innovative finger insertion boot, flow meter, and quick reliable readings. The readings when you get them are accurate but does not refresh reliably enough to show any changes, the finger boot is awkward and too variable for finger placement.Other than that it's nice looking.

Second time I ordered this device. Both times the Oximeter would not turn off. Its almost like they sent the first one back to me.This is a good product. I have another one bought three years ago and it still works fine. Just seems I get a bad one when ordering through Amazon;.

Item as described. Works great. Fast reading. Works even with nail polish.

The PX-100 Deluxe is accurate. I am an R.N. and I use this at work. I do double check it once in a while to make sure the batteries are not going down and throwing off the Oxygen Saturation reading, it's usually right on. If not it's only a percent difference.

Because of the design, a little better I've found in bright light than most Oximeters.

The product itself is great, the seller on the other hand, I will not return to buy from.

This is the best Oximeter. I tried several different ones in every price range - but this one is the best.

This Oximeter stopped working after only two weeks. We tried replacing the battery, but that didn't work.
