Love this knife set. Knives are sharp and sizzor is always available. Also is very good look on the kithchen counter. Would definitely buy again!

Got a set of these for Christmas in 2022 and they're still perfect today. I use them all the time. Still very sharp and haven't rusted. I clean them off immediately after using them and put them back in the holder. The holder is a little cheap feeling, but it's held up just fine with no issues. I got a set for my dad this past Christmas cause I love mine so much. Oh and the kitchen shears that come with them?? LOVE THEM!! Best pair of scissors in my house.

However, I cannot give it 5 stars simply because it is not perfect.The knife holding base is made of plastic, is hollow and very lightweight. It does, however, come with 2 insertable metal weights that attach to the bottom base to add a little more stability, nevertheless, if you use it the narrow way (like I am) it can fall over easily if you are not careful. I have mine wedged in between the coffee machine and the food processor so it is not so bad. It's actually pretty ideal, I have more space now than I did with my old wooden box knife set (see pictures). I actually like that the box is plastic and the top part is removable because this allows it to be cleaned from the inside (something I could not do with the old wooden box one). Also, the old wooden box one became damaged from inserting the knives time and time again (again, see pictures), it looks rotted, you can see jab marks and who knows what was growing in the inside of those slots. This box, on the other hand, is breathable, easy to clean, can fit into tight places and comes with just the right knives for all of my cooking needs (do not use steaks knives often, no sense in having them stick out and taking up all of that counter space all of the time). In conclusion, sturdiness can use some improvement although it is manageable, the set looks great, the knives are well sharpened (making slicing and dicing a breeze) and I am very, very pleased. Bought these after we used them at an Airbnb we stayed at for Christmas. They look nice and cut like a dream. I ordered the black ones and have not had a problem with the finish coming off. The holder is a little cheapish but the knives are so good I don’t care.
