Clinique Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

I have been using this lipstick for about 20 years. My primary use is cheek rouge. It stays on my cheeks most all of the day. It is rich in color yet sheer. For mornings when I am rushed, it is also my lipstick for the day. As I age, I have wondered if this product would creep into wrinkles around my mouth. So far, not! And I am 71 yrs old. I will continue to purchase this product as long as I am able to get it or as long as I am able to wear it.

I wore Black Honey in 1997. I wear it now in 2017 and I'll probably wear it in another 20 years! I describe the subtle coloring of Black Honey as "my lips, but better". Gives me just enough color to brighten my face. Never too pink or red, just natural. The color is subtle enough that you can apply it without a mirror without fear of looking like a clown. More like a tinted gloss than anything else. Black Honey is a keeper!

This looks like it would go on REALLY dark, but it is surprisingly light and exceptionally smooth! I'm a white girl, and this isn't too dark. I prefer a natural look and this still totally works. I'd say it's similar to having red-wine stained lips. It's a gloss, not a thick lipstick.This would work on light or dark skin. It is the smoothest, creamiest lip gloss I've ever used.

Sheer color, enhances your natural lip color. Can add coats to make darker. Not sticky. No flavor. One of the best lipsticks I’ve ever purchased. Feels smooth and moisturizing while wearing. No glitter, no obnoxious shine. Looks almost black in tube but is not a dark shade.

I had a Clinique Black Honey lipstick probably 20 years ago and loved it, then for some reason I didn't repurchase it. Not sure why. When I came across it here, I ordered it again. I had forgotten about it and how great it was. It's very subtle and sheer, so it seems like it would work for any skin tone, from light to dark. (I'm fair, and it's hard to buy lipstick because I tend to go pink in the cheeks very easily, so lipstick just looks weird). One swipe almost just intensifies your natural lip color, and if you layer it the color intensifies. Not overly matte nor overly glossy (especially with just a few layers), so looks very natural. Glad I rediscovered this!

This has been my go-to lipstick for many years now. It is soft and subtle. A nice, natural stain that is just enough but doesn't look like you are wearing makeup. I hope that Clinique never stops making this classic.

this is the only lipstick I wear. put it on light for just a hint of color, or a little more for deeper color. love love love.

I have never spent $20 on lip balm before and probably never will, unless it's to buy this again! It's really all the reviews said it was. Moisturizing, a very nice tint of color which I imagine really does look good on almost everyone. Very flattering, very nice to wear especially in dry climates. Highly recommend. It doesn't have any flavor/scent, which I also like. I don't like smelling my own lips, that's weird.

Great colour that suits every skin tone. Creamy and keeps lips moist. Transfers so be careful and does not last as long on the lips as some other makes I have used. However I Have been using this daily for the past few years and product lasts about three months. An excellent every day product for an understated look

Finalmente sono riuscita ad acquistare questo rossetto tanto difficile da reperire in Italia...il prezzo è decisamente caro ma ne è valsa la pena perché ha soddisfatto oltremodo le mie aspettative. Arrivato puntualissimo ed in perfette condizioni si presenta in un elegante packaging metallizzato.Il colore dapprima scurissimo, una volta steso sulle labbra è un bellissimo marrone-miele sheer raffinato, che sublima meravigliosamente il colore naturale delle labbra idratandole a lungo,( persino il bianco dei denti appare più brillante con questo prodotto) ,poi naturalmente è questione di gusti . ..per ciò che mi riguarda posso dire che " black honey" è davvero un prodotto make up bellissimo e a sé stante( non riesco ad inserirlo in nessuna categoria in particolare, di certo non con i mat ma neanche con il genere lip-balm o similari con il quale si potrebbe erroneamente confonderlo…)Da grande amante dei rossetti quale sono,( e ne ho provati un'infinità) ,questo è subito entrato di diritto tra i miei "must have": consiglio di provarlo ,potrebbe stupirvi!
