So easy to use

Not sure what they hype is with the nail lamp as I found it to be pretty weak. Plus the lights are not covering the top and only where your fingers may rest if you don't go through the lamp.Love the glitters! Super beautiful and my favorite to this day.Polygel is super soft which Im not a super fan of because it can get super sticky. But they are beautiful for the most part. Not a huge fan of the nude as I like a darker nude.All in all I would definitely recommend this kit for someone who is on a budget and maybe wants to get started. I would recommend a different lamp though. You can make do with the one in this kit, but not ideal. Especially because if you do a thicker polygel, these run pretty opaque so if you don't fully cure them, you can get all types of allergies and discomfort.User tip: Make sure to prep the nail bed by buffing and removing shine, then using a dehydrater and primer (if you have them) if not, use alchol or acetone to wipe the nail bed to remove any lingering dust and or oils (use a clean brush or LINT FREE nail wipe). Apply thin base gel, and FULLY CURE! Sometimes I like to do 2 coats of base gel so that if I don't cure the polygel through then the base coat is protecting my natural nail bed.Apply 2 or 3 layers of polygel rather than 1 larger layer and it never hurts to cure for a longer period of time to make sure its cured through!No need for an Efile if your using polygel since its so much softer then acrylic. This will also help to build up your knowledge of using a hand file which is an art I must say! You can have bomb nails then have them filed wrong and its over! Lol.Hope this helps! XOXO

I Love Joe easy this is to use. I used to do my own nails with acrylic, and it was a little more work, but with the Poly Gel, it’s much more convenient for me.

First and foremost, I want to give my honest opinion on this company and their product. Just for people coming across this kit wondering what it truly is. Some people have different opinions and views on what they like and what they think looksbest. Now to start off I’m an inspiring nail tech I decided I wanted to really take a shot and chance at being a real nail tech so I did my little research went on Amazon because I know Amazon has things for affordable pricing and I ended up here. Now with that being said I came across this kit and thought I should start off with poly gel first instead of acrylic. As a new beginner I feel like poly gel is more easier with or without dual forms. The poly gel even though it does say translucent are all the exact same color I put them on a paper towel just to see how they’ll look when they are cured and I was honestly actually happy with the colors but when you put it on the nail tips they literally look clear. In the pic I presented first 4 of my nails are supposed to be the blue that comes with the kit I forget the name… but as you can see it looks clear. That wasn’t okay with me because I wanted to hide my real nail beds not go over them. Now my second issue is how small the brush is. The brush that is provided is a very small brush and can barely work properly if you’re someone who’s doing nails without dual forms.. you will NEED a nice size nail brush in order to properly do nails. My third issue is that the nail file that came with the kit was broken. Idk if you guys can see but it was peeling off it wasn’t glued down to the file. My fourth issue with this kit is that the poly gel was way too thick. Again I am a beginner nail tech but I’ve been watching and learning different videos on nail technicians and different poly gels and this was way too thick you would need to really have to use a glob of slip solution to really form and use the gel. Also it was very very sticky. I rate this a 3 out of 5 because as a beginner I don’t feel like this set wasn’t something I couldn’t use it is good forPractice for beginners for sure & it is really affordable for people just trying to dibble into the nail world wether it’s for fun or for a career.

Honest review from a true lazy girl hahaha.I did not find it as simple as other reviews have claimed and these photos are of my first attempt at the polygel. Not bad, looks sloppy but honestly I tried hard and I’m proud 😂 practice makes perfect! I didn’t watch tutorials and I did zero research, I just took a swing at it. The concept is very simple and it’s not hard to figure out what to do. The hard part is coordination, at least for me. I did my right hand first and I am right handed but by the time I finished my left hand I was moving at a much faster pace and had figured out simpler ways to do it.What I found worked best for me was to put a dot of the polygel on my fingernail and use the polygel mold to push it down and then use the brush to finish shaping before curing. Once cured, the polygel feels very strong, as strong as acrylic in my opinion. I don’t think I made it too thick because it cured just fine. I put a butterfly or two over my super messy spots I really didn’t wanna clean up and it looks pretty good! Will update if they don’t last long, break easily, etc. I am so far impressed.

I was new to poly gel when I got this. It is a great starter kit comes with plenty of supplies lamp is decent but takes a long while to harden I usually do 4-5 rounds at 30 seconds. One thing I think that would be a good addition to this kit is mail clips for while gel is setting under lamp to prevent lifting. Really happy with the purchase and would highly recommend! Wayyy cheaper then a salon and fun to learn or to do with kids. Absolutely worth the investment

Perfect for beginners easy to use

It's fiddley although that could be due to my child like finger nails, my nail beds are quite small. was difficult to get the form to stay on my nail had to hold the form on my nail while under the light. I practiced first, before I actually used on myself as can be seen in photos.Butterflys were from shein but the multi white & silver glitters were from this set. I used the white pencil to pick up the butterflys & a qtip to press the glitters in to the dual forms.Typically do my own nails with glue on false ones, but wanted a better way with the little details you get with acrylic/polygel, it's simpler than it looks just takes a bit of getting used to. But I'm very happy with the results.

I’ve not had my nails done at a salon for over 30yrs! So I thought as I had a few days off work I’d give these a go…. I’m honestly impressed. In 45mins I’ve managed to complete a passable set of nails and used approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of one tube of poly gel and one of the pots of glitter.The lamp in this set is more powerful than most and for under thirty pounds there’s definitely enough to do 18-20 full sets of nails - totally worth the money.I did invest in a separate nail dehydrator, primer and gel remover as these weren’t included and I seriously need them while I practice ( I keep putting too much gel on the forms) but am getting better with each nail.A great prezzy for yourself or someone special….. it’s most definitely a reasonably well manicured thumbs up from me

I don’t even wanna lie this is the most amazing kit ever, it’s such a good value for money and I use it so much to do my own nails! I have now did lots of peoples nails I know with this and it genuinely could not be more amazing and worth the money! Genuinely buy it if you’re debating it.

Love this product the instructions are easy to follow and the results are just like nail salon standard. Took a while to get the right amount of gel but it's all trial and error. Would recommend having someone do it with you
