I found the console easy to setup with help from my teenage daughter. Took us about an hour and a half. Everything works well and the games are fun. The table is at a good height for us.This table is great to share the retro, cocktail table video game experience with friends!User tip: other reviewers mention having to power off to change games: Not the case! Simply hold the Player 1 button for five seconds and it will go to the game menu.

This console was packaged incredibly well, an entire forest 🌳 of cardboard packaging.Assembly took just under two hours, and only using a philips screw driver.As other reviewers noted, the instructions can seem unclear or confusing.My laminated panels were flawless. Finish (for this price point) is excellent. Expect a few years of PacMan & Galaga family fun!Pro-tip 1:Take 5-minutes to flip through the instruction pages first, look at the screws and dowel guides -it will make sense.When I first turned the unit on, everything functioned normal. However it would not turn on a second time.My fix was to disconnect and reconnect the grey flat-cables under the screen and everything rebooted and worked just fine.Pro-tip 2:Do not peel the film from the screen protector or secure the top UNTIL you have first powered everything on and cycled through a game or two. Once satisfied it works, peel the film from the screen and finish securing the top to the console. Trust me, you won't want to scratch the top if you have to undo/unscrew the top for any reason.Happy gaming!

Assembly instructions are really quite good.I identified and laid out all of my pieces first and then followed the picture instructions. I was very methodical so it took me about 3 hours alone. A 2nd person would be handy but is not required to set this up.There are a few pieces that require you to remove a protective film.NOTE: I recommend not removing the film on piece "A" ( the table top) until you set it on top of the table because it has an arrow that matches up with a particular side of the cabinet. You could easily set it the incorrect way (as I almost did) by removing the film first.No review on use yet. Don't be intimidated by assembly.

Surprised my husband for Christmas with this. He loves it!! Haven't had any issues and play it often. It sits a little low for tall grow ups but we've managed. May build a platform or something to be able to use higher chairs, but a great addition to our gameroom.

The media could not be loaded. I have not had this item for 33 days and already it is broken. The joy stick will not work to the right. I called the extended warranty company, they directed me to the seller. The seller said, you have it for more than 30 days, so call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer on 3 different days. They haven’t responded. Amazon has been of no help, just giving me the run around. I am very disappointed and irritated that Amazon allows this vendor to sell its product on their platform. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge for the game and the extended warranty. I called the manufacturer again and still no response. No word from Amazon, the extended warranty company, or the seller as of May 21,2024.

I had ordered one from another company and when it came it was broke in many places. I sent it back and ordered one from here, and it was packaged so good. I was worried about getting another broken one, but it is not possible, it is protected in every way. Every part was there, easy to put together and we love it. Graphics are amazing, lots of games, Highly recommend it.
