Captain America: 3-Movie Collection (Blu-ray 3D + 2D) [Region Free] [UK Import]

Amazing product, when it arrived it was wrapped up, it was new and the discs were brand new as well as the cases and the box it come they are in, what is in the picture is what comes to your house, i was skeptical to buy at first but I'm very happy i did all movies work perfectly fine on my Vizio Blu ray 3D player. would've loved if spanish was on all of the discs but its only available on the blu ray 2D ones (each movie comes with a Blu-Ray 3D and a Blu-Ray 2D version) overall I'm glad i bought it, very good deal i would recommend buying!!! i have also added images so you can see what your buying.

Excellent set... for any who are wondering, these definitely do play on a region 1 player. The cases do not indicate any region restriction, so theyre probably genuinely region-free (although, this is not always the case, so your mileage may vary in region 3)

NOTE: These are the UK versions of the film, which doesn't limit the playability of the BluRay at all on my standard US-bought Samsung BluRay player. This is the box set, as pictured, and all three discs and packaging look brand new. Exactly as I expected! The only way to tell a difference is that instead of the US PG-13 rating, you'll see the UK's "12" rating.

Kids have been asking about these movies as they are some of their favorite superhero movies and I agree with them...Captain America is a great hero's hero.Each of the discs comes with 2-4 extra featurettes that range in length from 5minutes to the longest ones on Civil War which felt 20--30minutes each. Nothing like the 15hrs of extras on each of the extended edition Lord of the Rings, but few movies are to that level. So, for a superhero movie series we were happy with the extras provided.The only "extra" we didn't like was on Civil War and it was a big long commercial for Doctor Strange, which had nothing to do with Captain America or the Avengers. At least all the other extras were Captain America focused on the other discs.Playback on my Sony Blu Ray worked perfectly. I was able to pause, fast forward, rewind and skip to scenes without issue. Not my first time purchasing a UK import and again this did not disappoint and I appreciate the savings over the US release. I paid $42 for the set versus $20-$25 for each movie individually. I feel like it was totally worth it.Some of the most family friendly of the Marvel movies, though Tommy Lee Jones likes to say S.O.B. Otherwise, all the Captain America movies are pretty tame and safe for younger audiences too.OVERALL: Watching the movies back-to-back was best, as you more easily remember things in the first movie that come up again in the third movie. Nicely done writers!The First Avenger is a great origin story and leaves the final demise of the Red Skull in a way that he could return some day.Unlike some series, Winter Soldier (movie 2) does not lag, but amps the intensity and action over the first movie. And Civil War (movie 3) is even more fun as it feels like another Avengers movie. Overall very enjoyable series that we can enjoy in the comfort of our home with great clarity and sound on blu ray. Worth getting!

Be careful when purchasing this. It is now updated with a warning, but when I bought it it wasn't there. The regional code is set to 2 and USA is 1. These don't play on most USA DVD players. The set is useless if you live in the USA unless you have a laptop / DVD player that can constantly switch back and forth between regional settings. This was a complete waste of money, as we've never been able to watch them.

Don’t buy this unless you’re from the UK. It won’t work. They need to more clearly express this.

I have only had time to watch the second movie, but the volume of the sound effects are way too loud! The voice volume is normal, but when the “background” music or sound effects play, it sounds like the volume has been turned all the way up. Also, the Closed Caption doesn’t work. It started out working then it will stop. The video quality seems good, but I can’t get past my speakers nearly blowing out every time Cap punches someone or a car crashes.
