The metalwork of helmets and shields was typically characterised by inscribed interlace and spirals as can be seen on this La Téne Disc Celtic Pendant designed by Courtney Davis. The etched scrolls are highlighted in black. As a representation of a shield this Celtic pendant symbolises protection and safety. Made in Scotland from fine lead-free pewter with a crimson glass centre piece. Pendant Dimension : Disc diameter is 3.3 cm.
