No longer made in the US, but the quality is still outstanding.
I previously had an Omega juicer purchased around 15 years ago. It's been an excellent appliance. I've used it for juicing, making hummus, tahini and vegetable purees. I never quite got proficient at using it for pasta, but it would be worth trying again. My old juicer would probably have lasted another 15 years if not for a silly mistake I made. I got careless and grabbed a metal spoon (iced tea spoon) to brush a piece of fruit from the tray into the feed tube. Somehow I dropped the spoon when it was directly over the feed tube. It went straight down and jammed the device. This motor has a lot of torque! The metal spoon shattered the auger. Everything jammed so hard that I couldn't take it apart afterwards. Amazingly, the motor still worked but the attachments were broken. I was surprised to find a new Omega juicer on sale for about the same price as the replacement parts. It actually cost less than the one I bought 15 years ago. Happiness! I strongly recommend this juicer. A masticating juicer is very efficient but slower than the "blender" variety. Cut the fruit or vegetables into reasonably small pieces and feed slowly. The new model comes with an improved juice collection cup and additional nozzles for pasta. It's great! A hint if you are juicing: the fine particulates will create a "foam" on top of your juice. It's harmless, of course, but can be easily scraped off, if desired. Or you can filter the juice through a strainer. The juicer comes with recipes. I recommend creating your own based on your preference for raw vegetables and seasonal fruit. My favorite is a combination of apples, celery, kale, lemon and a little bit of fresh ginger. I only have one complaint, and it is a small one. The top of the hopper seems to be permanently attached to the the feed tube and drum. It's supposed to detach. This makes it slightly less convenient to clean, but it's not a significant issue. Speaking of cleaning: if you are juicing, resist the urge to sit down and sample your creation right away. First, disassemble the juicer and clean everything thoroughly. Make sure every bit of residue is cleaned off of the juicing screen. You don't want any fruit or vegetable residue to dry on the fine mesh. After this brief pause, pour the juice over ice and enjoy.

The right juicer for me!
I am by no means a pro at juicing but I have owned both Breville and Omega juicers. Both are wonderful machines and helped me onto a course of good nutrition and healthy habits. I reently had a Breville masticating machine but returned it due to how LOUD it was and the amount of juice/pulp that I had to clean up after it spalltterd onto my kitchen walls. It was probaly my fault, I found the machine a bit harder to put together tightly after each cleaning. Not so with this Omega juicer. It is much easier to clean, easy to put back togehter with no spillage. True, it's not as fast and the chute is nowhere as wide as the Breville but it's much quieter and easier for me to operate. The juice is deleicious and the pulp is drier which I am thikning is due to squeezing every last drop from the frutis/veggies. I am very satisfied with this juicer and plan on keeping it for a long time.

A good grinder
This machine has me no words. I bought this machine specially for sugar cane juice and it perfectly perform its job. The pulp came out dry and puffy. So happy with this machine. Easy to wash, low noise and sturdy. Highly recommended.

Magic machine
"I've been using the Omega NC900HRD19 juicer, which I purchased at a very affordable price, for everything from juicing and making smoothies to grinding peanuts. It's been incredibly effective, offering great results in terms of performance, convenience, and taste and really I couldn't believe it all. Now, I have the peace of mind knowing I can create a variety of fresh, nutritious foods right in my own home. While the Omega NC900HRD19 juicer has been excellent overall, I did notice a minor issue with leaking and clogging( by its own cream ) when processing coconut. I hope future designs can address this to make the experience even smoother."Thank you

not sure why people like juicers
it wastes a lot of food. I hated all that food being wasted. ended up returning it.

Great choice
I used to have a champion juicer. It’s a similar shape. But they don’t make them anymore so I tried this one. It’s much quieter, it’s lighter and it does all the things the Champion juicer used to do; it can whip out fresh homemade pasta, nut butters, sorbets,-love it!
