Ready to hang. Very nice contemporary look. Instructions say to use a carbon battery but most AA Batteries are alkaline. Instructions say alkaline can shorten life of the clock. We'll see. Works fine with it in there.

Perfect for what I needed!

Purchased this clock for my office, I wanted something simple, but that still has some charm. I love the look of the thicker, black metal and Roman numerals. The hands of the clock. are delicate. There is no second hand on this silent clock. My clock did arrive with a flaw/discoloration near the noon mark as shown in photos. At first I thought it was adhesive. I tried scrubbing it with a little warm water and soap, but it didn’t help. To avoid having to exchange it, I ended up coloring over the cosmetic damage with a black permanent marker, which did help disguise it a bit, but it still isn’t an exact match to the black up close. From a distance, it looks fine. The clock works well.

Bought this clock for our main living room space. Worked fine for 2 years, now it won’t keep up with the right time even with new batteries.

I like it a lot, but I added cream-colored tips of the hands with paint and a tiny brush because the clock is SO BLACK it was hard to tell from a glance what the time was before. I took this idea from another review I read. Now the problem is solved. I guess, now I know why there are other ones with a different colored tip on the market. I would still recommend it. It is exactly what I wanted for my living room.

This is the perfect wall clock for any room that you have in your home. This is in our music area, supporting the other Harry Potter Decors! We love looking at it. It is very quiet and absolutely magical!

Just what I was looking for, perfect size for where I wanted to hang. I did use a black screw to hang, if you don’t it would be noticeable.
