The fittings and inlet holes on both side coolers ( for trans etc) are way too small.....
I sent this directly to Top Racing but seems worthwhile to post here.Dear Top. This unit seems well made and should work, however as noted in some other comments on amazon, some of the fittings for the transmission cooler and other connections do not seat properly so the seals, in the fitting, do not contact the aluminum unit properly PLUS. what is more disturbing is that the holes in the inlets/ outlets are very small compared to the old stock unit. Even if I bought proper Doorman fittings. I am very concerned that these very small inlet / outlet holes will not provide enough flow to cool. The holes in the stock radiators are about 5 times larger in diameter. Drilling these to bigger sizes seems like it would be very difficult to do since the cooling fins of the core are directly below the small inlet/outlet holes and one would not want to drill into those cores while making this modification. what to do? do you have units that have larger inlet/exit holes to the core on Both sides? this is for a 2011 2500 Suburban

Radiator purchase
I originally purchase this item, and it appeared perfectly fine, and my truck ran well, but then it started leaking. I contacted the seller, and they were really professional and very nice and understandable about the situation. After showing pictures and video of the leak they gave me a full refund with no problem. I highly recommend and that's why I re-purchased the same radiator with the same seller.

Decent radiator and good customer service
I have purchased this radiator 2 times. The first about 2 1/2 years ago and another just over 1 year ago. The mounting ears do need to be trimmed on the corners to fit as others have stated, and your fan shroud needs the top and bottom flanges removed to fit tightly, but for the cost savings, it's a minor issue. It comes with the proper transmission and engine oil cooler adapters (I used them in a 2002 Tahoe and a 2004 Tahoe, both with 5.3 liter engines without engine oil coolers; just left the oil cooler capped). Performs well in high temp environments. It does over-cool though. It is missing the flow restrictor in the port for the 1/2(?) diameter air-purge hose that returns directly to the expansion tank. This unregulated flow returns cooled coolant back to the engine via the expansion tank and then to the return heater hose and thus bypasses the thermostat. In cold weather this is enough flow to prevent the engine from reaching full operating temp, especially at lower speeds. I placed an all aluminum TV RG-6 F-connector in the hose at the tank end to act as a restrictor, which works well. I also thought a 3/8 copper plumbing cap or a short brass rod with an 1/8" hole drilled in it would probably work. The second radiator purchased did, however, start leaking after about 6 months in service. One of the cross-tubes near the bottom developed a steady stream leak. I contacted the seller through Amazon, and the seller agreed to give me a full refund, even though it was just over 1 year from date of purchase (it sat for about 6 months before I got it installed). Excellent customer service and fast response to my inquiry. They were very professional.I will buy again from them and would use this radiator again.

Too big
I ordered this for an 11 Silverado it did not fit. The rubber bushings I had to shave a 1/4 inch off then the mounting tabs I had to cut the ends off where they overhang I finally got it to go in but the radiator touches the upper core support. I went through this and after I was contacted by them they made things right with me and I will be using them again customer service is important this company has my respect and will maintain my business with them

Direct fit replacment? Well not exactly......
This is supposed to be a direct fit replacment for my 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Well, not quite. After carefull inspection and comparison between the old one and this one it looks like it will be good. All of the fittings and mounting points look compatible. So I pulled out the old one. You have to transfer a couple mounting groments to the new one and in we go. And thats when I found the first problem. It had interference with the core support across the top. The mounting algle brackets are welded on too wide on the top of the radiator. I had to grind off about 1/8" on each side to get it to fit. Next when I put on the plastic fan shroud you find the second problem. The original radiator is a single row and the new one is a double row. The fan shroud has a lip on it across the top and bottom that sets aginst the raditor. I had to cut off about 1/2" all across the top and bottom. Finally is was in. So, I like that I got away from the stupid OEM plastic tanks but if I have to make some adjustments / modifications to get it to fit on an item that claims to be diret fit replacment part they need to make you aware of that fact.Yes, I still wouold have bought it if I knew I had to make a couple of rather easy modificationsYes, It seems to be a qood quality part. (It's only been in 2 days)Yes, I would recoment it for someone that is willing to do the required mods to make it fitBut they should let you know upfront. thats all........
