Seems a bit cheaply made
Works but it is difficult to insert the various IDE drives into the holder.It also takes a bit of force to remove them. It is still easier than changing drives in the computeror plugging, each time, into a USB port.On the other hand having both IDE and SATA capability is definitely helpful.

Looks nice, doesn't work.
This product does not work as intended, and does not provide any documentation for getting it to work properly.I purchased this unit to recover data from old drives I had before destroying/disposing them. I have a pile of about 15 IDE HDDs and a few SATA as well, I assumed this would be a good purchase for my needs.The fit for an IDE drive is uncomfortably tight when inserting and doesn't always feel like it was fully connected. The SATA bay is actually the opposite, where the thinner SATA drives look like they are leaning over and causing stress to the SATA adapter. I've had to re-seat both types a few times before I heard the actual spin-up of the HDD, but I got nothing.Neither IDE or SATA shows any new devices present. Occasionally an IDE drive will show an "empty" E: drive, which was asking for a disk to be inserted. I tried several different IDE and SATA to no avail. I've tried different USB cables, different USB ports (3.0 and other), and even different PC's. The device is either broken or I'm not doing something right. However, there is absolutely no documentation or support for this product, so how would I even know how it should be used correctly?I am a 25+ year vet of IT Hardware infrastructure and I cant get it to work so I'm just returning it.

It works but it was very confusing to figure out initially

I never got it to work or set up with the small driver dvd they gave you, it also never would fit either a SATA drive or IDE drive in the second slot, ill be moving on to a electronics store to get one that works properly. very disappointed.
