When I first opened the box and saw the monkey I was disappointed. I showed it to my husband and he said, "it's the creepiest thing I've ever seen. Send it back." It was a birthday present for my daughter, who turned 9. We decided to see what she thought of it before returning it. She absolutely loved it and in her opinion it is 5 star worthy. She says, "I love it's pacifier, and diaper, and I love that it's so real looking." When she takes it out we are always stopped and asked where we bought it from. From a mothers point of view it is creepy, but that's also part of its appeal.I did buy newborn sized clothes for it, the dresses fit but are a little big. I would recommend preemie size for a better fit.

My daughter has wanted coco for about 2 years now . when I realized how much she truly wanted it and wouldn't just brush it off to the side. We decided to get this for Christmas . I know she will love it . I opened it before wrapping it and it smells like a baby . the detail of the skin, face , and even hair was perfect. Well worth the money for this amazing handmade masterpiece !!!!

Should’ve paid closer attention to the other reviews. The item was over exaggerated in quality. I only hope I get my money back. The description was completely falsified, and the item was a mess. Rather tacky actually.

Coco the monkey is the 4th Ashton Drake item I have bought. Coco was not as cute as the pictures but the other items I've purchased are great. Some tell me Coco is " creepy". N

I purchased this doll for my Granddaughter even though it says not for children to play with. It was so fitting because she is a little Monkey as well.Although it freaks out her Dad, She loves it and I think it will hold up fine.It definitely is life like and well made.I emailed the company because when I ordered it the arrival shipping date would have missed my granddaughter's birthday. They were able to ship it right away at no extra charge and I got it a few days before her birthday!

Compré a Coco para mi nieta de 15 años que quería un mono real y esto fue lo más parecido que encontré, cuando se lo entregué reaccionó con cara de asombro o de espanto, pero a los pocos minutos ya adoraba a Coco, y me dijo que era el regalo que más deseaba, duerme con ella y se la ha mostrado a todas sus amigas, ahora es un miembro más de la familia. Hice una compra acertada que hizo feliz a mi hermosa nieta!!!

I think she is very cute but way to hairy. I looked at the pictures for over a week and did not notice the amount of hair on her. I am hoping that some of the hair on this little monkey will fall off. I find her to be very cute and want to keep her so I found an outfit that can cover her arms and legs ( pair of pj's with feet) and now she is as cute as the picture. I would not order another as I wanted to get the other monkey bobo . The price of this is reasonable and the shipping is okay. I have a monkey collection and this is nice to add to that. I have also purchased double and trouble and am waiting for that to come. I should have just ordered here and I would have that one already. I can not say enough of how great amazon is with getting stuff to me. I ordered this one on Saturday and the double trouble on Sunday and still have not got them. I will always stay with amazon for ordering so I get it in a timely manner. She is cute but has a hairy issue for me, so if hairy is not an issue for you then she is going to be perfect.

got this for my niece last Christmas figuring she would like it better than your typical doll... it is a collectors item for sure so it's pricey- but it's adorable and definitely am happy with it
