Once again, It did what I expected it to do. It was a sturdy product and was easy to install after I placed some support plywood above the ceiling tile to accept the mounting screws

These guards are steel with a soft rubber (?) coating that's pleasant to touch (not that you will touch them again after installation).No instructions are included, but if you can't figure it out yourself, you shouldn't be drilling holes in the ceiling beside a sprinkler head.Includes screws, drywall anchors (crappy ones but good enough) and washers to secure them.I have some on the ceiling and some on the wall sprinklers. With light walls, the white cage actually looks nicer than a naked metal sprinkler head.If you're worried about banging a sprinkler head and flooding your home, buying these should be a no brainer.
