Works well
I use this to etch vitreous enamel in preparation for drawing in pencil. It works well in just ten minutes. I use a wide synthetic art brush to apply it thickly to my piece and wait 10 minutes. Chemical gloves and eye protection is a must. Neutralize with some baking soda so it doesn't continue to etch after rinsing. It doesn't coat evenly, but with a light touch you can dab rather than brush a fairly even coat. There is lots of info online about how to use this in all sorts of crafts. This small bottle will last a long time.

Love it
Love this stuff. Super easy to use and clean afterwards. I just use a paint brush to paint it on, wait a few minutes, then wash under water to get the stuff off. Works perfect.

Great product. Easy to use.
This stuff goes a LONG way. I did 7 glass bakeware dishes and only used a third of this product. Be sure to shake well before applying. Keep the brush moving for a full 6 minutes to get the most uniform etch. It looks professionally done. I cut a stencil with my Cricut cutting machine and applied it to the underside of the dishes so that the etched side was not in contact with food to avoid staining. Looks beautiful.

Great Product!
I have etched plates, a baking dish and globes for lights in our RV. Easy to use, just follow the instructions. If you want to etch something used for food, mirror image your stencil and etch on the back side. Some glass is not etchable, so do your research before etching.

Good stuff
First time use this product and it was really easy to use and it only takes it a minutes to work. Will say that you need to make sure you have equal amounts of the product in the places you want to etch. That was my issue and then when I added more after the fact it was a different shade. But that is more user error than the product.

Opened
This product was opened when I received it. With hairs in it. And chunky. I really needed it. And the craft store near me is out of Amour etch. So I used it, in hopes it would work.. it did

Yes, you do need this!
Awesome stuff but I definitely think you need to leave it on for 10 minutes at a minimum to get a good looking etch. Otherwise, it just seems too light and faint. However, you can scrape the cream off and reuse it time and time again so you'll have lots of uses and time to practice with this to get the right amount of time for you.
