What a beast!!!
I bought this saw after moving onto a small piece of property with lots of large oaks. I knew that I would be dealing with down trees occasionally and would need a large saw. I simply don't run it enough to justify paying 3x the cost for a Stihl, so I rolled the dice with this one. I have cut a few large fallen trees (3-5 foot diameter, 1 fir and 2 large oak) and this thing eats them all without issue!! This saw is an absolute beast!!! Fair warning though... this is a heavy saw and is a workout to use! Also...make SURE you use the compression release when starting it!

DO NOT BUY THESE!
DO NOT BUY! Bought this chainsaw back in November. Followed the break in instructions for getting it going and tuning etc. Ran 3 tanks of premix through it cutting a tree up with no issues just seemed a bit low power but i was easy on it to break it in. Got it back out 2 days ago and ran half a tank through it before it started acting funny at full throttle. Noticed the high throttle screw had vibrated all the way out and was missing. Contacted neotec to try and get the screw size through Amazon and their website where it says 24 hour response time. Never heard anything back from neotec on here or their site. Drove 45 mins to lowes to get a screw. Tuned it again per instructions. Before that tank ran out (4th tank in the chainsaw ever) it started smoking. I killed it and took it to a chainsaw sales and repair dealer. They determined there was a manufacturing issue with the bar (42") and/or chain that caused the clutch to overheat and the bar, chain, clutch are unusable and they tested the cylinder and said it has low/no compression. Just spend the extra money on a name brand. At the very minimum you'll be able to get a response if you have issues.

You won't be disappointed
This is still being used. Worked great after storms to clear what fell. You won't be disappointed. It's a great value for the ease of shipping. Very powerful and reliable.

A Beast!
This chainsaw is huge! I love it! Started just fine & runs good. Cuts like I beast! Unstoppable. Perfect for big timber. Takes some strength to handle it.

great value runs good makes a little bar and chain oil the well worth 500 bucks
great job for the money after breaking. headed to end up and it rips works excellent it'll be nice if I automatic oiler so you don't have to worry about that pumping it and if you tip it on the side it does leak out of the oil pumper otherwise it's good to go

Bolt to tighten bar/chain broke (was SO difficult to START, but that was a carb issue)
I always had a hard time tightening the chain on this. The bolt that tensions it apparently had a small break or bend almost from the beginning, it seems. When it broke I replaced it with another bolt, but it was a bit short and it bent and allowed the chain to loosen. Looking for the $1 bolt without having to buy a $30 hardware kit.IF you can start the thing it’s great. Unfortunately I’ve spent about 4 hours trying to start it and 4 hours cutting wood with it. It WILL flood when you try to start it. Period. It just WILL! If you can get someone to pull the trigger while you try to start it that helps. I use a re-usable zip tie. Without that, I’d literally be unable to start this, period!I read reviews that said you’d better be STRONG to use this saw. That’s true. But you’d also better be strong to START this saw. So far I’ve used equal amounts of effort for both. I hate this saw.I gave it 2 stars because it is great IF you can get it to run!Edit - moved to 4 stars. The carb idle (L) has to be adjusted in order for it to start reliably. Weird, but ok! I had to turn it clockwise to give it more gas to start up. Then I had to turn it counter clockwise to back it off to the point where it wouldn’t run the chain without the throttle trigger pulled. It didn’t make sense because it was flooding the engine, just spitting gas into the spark plug. It’s supposed to put enough in there so it creates a vapor. I’m not sure why increasing the flow caused the problem to go away, but I’m glad it did! This saw is cheaper than a Stihl but it’s still not inexpensive!

Impossible to start
Brand New out of the box and it took 3 days to finally get it to start.Once it started, it ran decently. I didn't like the sound but it seemed super sensitive to any bit of adjustment, so I left it where it started because it comes setup for running for the first three tanks of fuel.Annoying popping sound aside, it ran good and it cut like a dream, to be honest... made my other saws look like junk, including my Rancher. However, I spent the entire next day trying to start the saw on it's second tank of fuel with no success. The first pull was the only pull that sounded like it would start with the next pull; it never did.Brand New Bosch "Start" spark plug came in it but there's nothing in the User's Manual about the proper spark plug gap.Definitely getting a charge to the spark plug and I've repeatedly gone through the steps for a "wet" plug/flooded combustion chamber, but still will not crank. As wonderful as the saw was the one time it did run, I still cannot give it more than a single star. All of the hours and sweat lost trying to get the saw started completely negates how well it cuts big timber. If I can figure out the issue, then I'll update my rating and provide what I've learned.
