Very well designed, works perfectly, and so cute! I've used this for 3 or 4 days and so far I'm thrilled with it compared to my old Mr. Coffee that was also a 5-cup size (it was probably 8-10 years old and suddenly broke last week). It has a smaller footprint and way better design - I love the way you pour the water in front and that the pot doesn't dribble or spill like my old one did. My 4 cup paper filters from the grocery store fit perfectly. I'm really happy (so far) that I picked this one!

DELICIOUS HOT ☕☕☕☕☕This little coffee maker is almost perfect. It makes good, hot coffee fast. I don't use the timer so I can't comment on that. The pitcher works fine. I think Hamilton Beach only has a couple of things to consider further with this one, which aren't really that big a deal for me so far. To address these things in a model update would make it even nicer.It needs a bigger water receptacle; the inside of the water chamber at the top where the water is poured is made in such a way that the water has to be added slowly enough so none will spill out over the sides while you're pouring it in - a minor inconvenience for me in a small coffee maker (I only make 1 or 2 cups at a time). If you have unsteady hands it could be a bigger problem for you, especially if you make a full pot every time. Hamilton Beach would have to make the opening big enough so water for 5 cups could easily be poured in with little overflow risk.The graduated water viewport would be better and easier to see if it was in front and not on the side, and made of clear plastic. It's awkward to pour the water and then have to crane your neck or turn the coffee maker to make sure you've got the right amount of water inside. The coffee maker is designed small enough to fit conveniently under kitchen cabinets and to have the water view in front makes more sense. Also with the port in front, it's a quick reminder if you like to set up your coffee maker the night before, that you already have water in. If the coffee maker was a little wider I think they'd have enough room to place a nice clear viewer in the front of a newer model - I personally have eyesight issues.Overall I really like this coffee maker. It performs very well and makes coffee very fast. I have a reusable filter basket for it I purchased separately on Amazon which fits perfectly, is durable and works fine, and is not expensive (search for 4 Cup Reusable Filter Basket by BRENSTEN, on Amazon; you can buy just one if you want).I'd tell anyone it's a good coffee maker but would explain that it still isn't perfect, but close.

Bought this for mom with the hopes it would be easy to use and obvious how to work it.Good choice. Easy to fill with water , easy to clean.Mom has no complaints...she likes it much better than the Mr. ***** that she had.

Great two cup coffee maker, very small footprint. Easy to fill front water reservoir and removable basket/holder for easy cleaning. Makes really hot coffee. I bought a gold tone filter so no more plastic or paper filters. It has an auto 2 hours shutoff. This coffee maker seems to be well made and designed.

I gave this coffee maker 3 stars because it has 2 design flaws, in my opinion. Before I get to that, I must say it does make a fine cup of coffee and allows you to choose either regular or bold. It fits nicely under a cabinet to give you more counter space and the basket swings out to the left instead of having the lid pop up to expose the basket and water fill. The coffee is made quickly and is hot as long as you don't add milk/cream, but I put the cup in the microwave for about 40 seconds before sitting down or else I will have to get up and do it half way through breakfast anyway. A+ for those features.Now, for the flaws: It is programmable, so it has a clock. You will need a flashlight to set it, as it has NO backlight to let you see the time (see pic). Next I wanted to try programming it for 20 minutes later while I got the sausages and eggs ready. Apparently since I was not programming it for hours later, it would not take the program. I tried it twice following the instructions carefully but w/o changing the hour it failed. Hamilton Beach needs to remedy these problems, otherwise you're paying for amenities you're not able to utilize.

This is a great little coffee maker!!! I needed this for our RV and it is the perfect size . I must confess I thought it was not working correctly when I tried to program it Then after really looking at it there i a sticker o the front that blocks the time and the programming. I thought it was not working because nothing was changing!!! SO be aware there is a sticker over the screen where the time displays!!! LOL . I love that you can make the brew stronger or regular which is perfect for suç a small appliance.. The price was good, pleased that the basket opens in the front and not over the top for my need in the space for the RV. I highly recommend!!!!

Works great! Read all the other reviews, and for the money, this does the job.It does have about 5 seconds in between it's heating and dispense drip, but if you're in that big of a hurry for your coffee, wake up earlier is all I can suggest. It really doesn't take that long for the coffee maker to brew a full fresh 5 cups.The auto timer is easy to use and clear to see. Just press and hold and set your time.There is a sticker over it, with fake clock numbers. Just remove it and there's your programming buttons for time, regular or Bold, options. Red light on right side, indicates it's on and brewing, also it has sauto shut off after two hours, so you don't have to worry, did I leave the coffee pot on!!!?!?Works great for hot tea and coffee. Easy to rinse out used coffee grinds for next pot of fresh coffee! Compact design fits easily in small space and take to travel.
