I’ve had a life long problem with my teeth collecting large amounts of tartar. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to brush your teeth 2X per day plus flossing and then start collecting tartar 2-3 days after having my teeth cleaned. CloSYS has been the only treatment/product that has prevented tartar from forming. Using CloSYS, my teeth have collected a little tartar, but very little. After a life long problem of collecting tartar, you can imagine how happy this product makes me. It takes a little bit of time to apply CloSYS, brushing it in your gums at a 45-degree angle, to both front and back sides of your teeth plus swishing, but the results are so very much worth it. I have read where people talked about the taste of CloSYS. There is absolutely no taste. It doesn’t taste like water but I just don’t taste a thing. Definitely not objectionable. You do not need that small bottle of taste liquid that they give you to add to CloSYS when purchasing. I highly recommend this product.

CloSYS Antiseptic Oral Rinse works as advertised.I had a soreness problem with my tongue and my lower mouth. It hurt to talk and eat. When I talked, I sounded like Elmer Fud. It was no joke.The minute the CloSYS rinse came, I ripped the box opened, read the instructions then rinsed my mouth for about a minute. The rinse has no taste. Just like swishing with water.There is a tiny bottle of pepermint extract, one can pour the whole tiny bottle into the CloSYS rinse bottle to add flavor.After a minute or so I spit out the CloSYS rinse. DO NOT RINSE YOUR MOUTH WITH WATER. By the time I spit out the CloSYS rinse my tongue and mouth felt no pain at all. That horrible pain was gone for about 6 to 7 hours. The pain that came back was not bad at all.I've rinsed with CloSYS 3 more times, the pain is gone. I love this product!

I have used closys on and off for years. Whe. I got pregnant mint became the most revolting smell and flavor to me. I tried kids toothpaste and mouth wash and my mouth just didn't feel clean. Then I remembered closys didn't actually out tue flavor into to bottle. Thus has been a lifesaver as it has almost no flavor abd definitely no mint flavor unless you add the flavor drops. I highly recommend.

I bought this idea for my husband about 15years ago on the recommendation of his dentist to control plaque and fresh breathe. It has done the job very well. He has diabetes and when his count is up, I can smell it on his breathe and once he rinses with ClosSYS his breathe is much better. His mouth feels cleaner he says and is faithful in using it every morning and during the day. It is non irritating and won't harm the tissue. A great adjunct to anyone oral hygiene routine.

For about a year now, I've been using CloSYS as part of the twice daily routine recommended in the book Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye: A Do-It-Yourself Mouth Care System for Healthy, Clean Gums and Teeth by Elie Phillips DDS. A pre-rinse with CloSYS before brushing, says Dr. Elie, "is extremely gentle on the delicate mouth tissues and yet actively removes some kinds of harmful mouth bacteria." She also finds it helpful for removing "the kind of bacteria that are found in gum pockets around your teeth" and especially recommends it for seniors, teenagers and people with extremely dry mouths. She claims that when used before brushing and without any added flavor, this chlorine dioxide rinse can not only strengthen and protect teeth, it can also have an immediate effect on bad breath.So what's all this about not adding flavor? Well, CloSYS, when you buy it, comes flavorless, but the box the bottle comes in also contains a wee squeeze bottle of "Flavor Control" that lets users add however much mint flavor they like to suit their tastes. But Dr. Elie advises against that because "a chlorine-dioxide rinse is most effective if it is unflavored." She recommends we rinse before brushing, using a routine that allows the back teeth to be bathed in the rinse, because the area around the back molar teeth is where gum disease usually starts.Seems to me that if swishing CloSYS around in my mouth twice a day can help save me from needing to see a periodontist or receiving yet another chair-side lecture by my dentist's super critical hygienist, it'll be well worth it. And then some. This product also comes in a travel size. .

My dentist recommended I get this and it has made all the difference. Instead of sitting through long sessions of teeth scraping to remove plaque they just comment that it's not really needed! It is tasteless (like water), but don't let that worry you as it gave me great results. I use it after brushing in the morning and after brushing before bed. It lasts a long time. Value for money I think is high as it's your teeth we're talking about (hope to keep them all in good shape until I die).

Tried this product, recommended by my hygienist. Lost my taste buds after the second mouth wash. Probably a good product, but does not work for me. I checked it out on the Net and found other people having my problem with it. As I said... not for everyone.

my sister has been using this for 10 years and has excellent NO plaque records since she began to use this..plaque has begun to be a continual building issue with me and she said try this...so I am it has a choice of either zero taste or you can add mind I added the mint and I like that too either way is fine..i gave the toothpaste a chance and I like it..so next time I visit the dds we shall see how well the products report shall be for me...hoping I do as well as my sister
