Bought this for home use. I was so suprised how quickly the heating plate warms. The stones are excellent thickness and hold heat well. The controller is very easy to use. There is some extra space for any other smaller items that could be heated at the same time. The handle seems sturdy, the locks are smooth and reliable. The box itself is smooth and elegant looking. The cord is two parts, the section that plugs into the wall and that section plugs into the control portion which then plugs into the box. The cord length is ample for putting on a table or needing a few feet of distance. This unit actually gets way to hot so it is important to research how how you really need it to be for use on skin. The rocks heat up fast and hold it well. I have been thrilled with this purchase so far. Hope this helps!

Because of lower back issues, I have gone to a masseuse for years but it is getting way too expensive. I love when they use the heated stones so I decided to invest in one myself. Boy am I glad I did. Other than the stones, I also invested in some massage oil and watched some stone massage videos on YouTube. With my wife performing the massage with the stones I almost feel like I am at a professional masseuse. I love that there are different sized stones for different areas of my back and that I can adjust the temperature of the stones. Also, the kit comes in a great looking bamboo case that is light and easily can be brought with you on a trip or vacation. Overall, not only am I saving money but I am still getting a great massage. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this kit for body massage but also for stress relief.

The look of the case this comes in is smooth and quite nice to look at. It heats up the stones pretty quickly and the temperature range you can use is very good! We only used the stones as hot as 120 degrees Fahrenheit. That seemed to be the sweet spot for us. May try higher temps once our bodies get used to it. The stones are nice and smooth. They hold the heat really well too. This item would be greatly for a beginner or anyone who would like a well priced travel set.

I recently purchased this product for use in my massage business. The stones provided with the unit heat to my desired temp of 120 degrees in approx. 30 min. I plan to try this unit with my Himalayan salt stones as well. I gave it 4 stores because the unit heats differently depending on where the stones are placed. Stones closer to the middle reach the desired temp in approx. 30 min. Stones on the outside are a couple of degrees lower.

I had been shopping around for a set of these stones because I have back problems. My wife is a naturopathic doctor and over the years she has used various therapies to help me out with my back. I wanted to try these because they seemed like as easy therapy that would alleviate my back issues from time to time.The first thing I noticed is that they are VERY high quality. The packaging is excellent and the wooden box they come in not only looks great, it is solid and will hold up. I read reviews about other stones and everybody seemed to complain about the quality of the stones and the box; not so with this set! I am very pleased with the high quality and have no doubt they will last many years.As far as how they work, they work great! My wife has used them on my back a few times and is actually thinking about buying another set (or using mine!) for therapy on some of her patients. I'm very pleased with the purchase and they certainly are great for what I need them for. Highly recommended!

I had issues with this set right away as the controller kept giving an error message saying it wasn't properly plugged in even though it was tightly plugged in. I would have to unplug it for a bit and then plug it back in to get it to start heating only for the error message to pop up again a min or two later.The few times I did manage to get the stones heated up witout getting the error message, it did heat up quite fast (within 10-15 min). However, the stones did not retain the heat very well. The stones were basically back to room temperature within 2-3 min after removing them from the heater.The only positives I had for this set is that it was very well packed for delivery (no damaged stones) and the box itself seemed to be solidly built.

Portable - Convenient - RelaxingPortable - The wooden box is sturdy and keeps everything in one place. You just gotta be careful. You can basically turn any room a relaxing abode.Convenient - Along with portability, it’s really convenient to have hot stones to relax you after a stressful day(s). No real fuss. Just gotta know how warm you want the stones. I didn’t feel the stones ever got hot enough to burn you.Relaxing - my wife and I use this and can really bring a sense of relaxation. It’s different from a warm blanket as you can target certain areas.

Love these...I took a bamboo massage class and bought these instead of the very expensive set offered by the class. So glad I did. These work great. I can use whatever lotion or oil I want and it doesn't affect the coating on the sticks. They hold heat really well. If I could change anything it would be to add more of the half rounds and the small round. Oh, they also glide well over clothes.
