I purchased the 3-pack. Our use plan is for tailgating at college football games. We used the first one. It was very easy to light. We waited about 20 minutes to ensure the coals were hot. The hot zone was very small, only cooked the center 5" of one braught (the ends were raw). We attempted to cook one 1/3 lb burger patty. It cooked to about a medium (red middle). Then we attempted to cook a 2nd burger - not happening. The heat was fully exhausted from the coals.This product was a big disappointment. I do not believe the product reviews were written by actual customers who had actually used the product. I do not recommend this product.

We used the grills for two small tailgate parties. They worked well. They were easy to use, having small racks to hold them. They lit easily and provided heat for both brats and corn. We will use them again.

I've used the previous version of this product (before they added the spatula) and had great success. I bought a three pack to pregame a race, expecting the grills to satisfy our needs. This set of three underperformed quite badly. One of the three only heated up a few coals before it's lighting sheet went out. We had to light up a second one to cook the food we'd put on the first one. The second one performed as expected. Our third one didn't light up entirely, but did better than the first.Overall, we were quite disappointed. Next race we'll bite the bullet and take a truck with a full size grill in the back. It's not worth gambling our food on these mini grills.

It's pretty functional for a small group. Much better than I expected, but still not a substitute for a real grill. But, if you need easy, single use this is hard to beat.

I like this product and have used in the past. One of the three however, did not light correctly and was unusable unfortunately.

I had a function for my sons Bass Club I was grilling burgers and hotdogs for 45 people at a end of the season party ! I decided to take a small gas grill just in case and BOY WAS I GLAD !!!!!! these charcoal grills SUCK !!!!!!! I was glad I took the backup ! I wish I could get my $35 back but I cant I recommend to NEVER EVER EVER BUY THESE !!!!!!! I struggled thru with my small gas grill but the 3 charcoal ones I bought I should have thrown them in the garbage can before I started ! THESE SUCK DONT BUY THEM !!!!!!!!!!! KEEP YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ! THESE SUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK! NOT low enough rating on here to score them a NEGATIVE 500 STARS !!!!!!

I bought the 3 pack. This cooked great. We were having a picnic on a riverbank and didn't know if there would be a park grill there. We had well over 2 hours of cooking time. Things did cook slow, but that kept the chicken moist. I was able to cook 8 burgers (4 at a time) and 4 Chicken breasts (2 at a time). There is an art to cooking on a grill this size, but if you don't have the space for a fill size grill or just don't want to deal with the mess of lugging separate charcoal and lighter fluid, this is a GREAT product.
