LANGIR DC Circuit Breaker 2 Poles 1-63A 500V for Solar Energy System and Other DC System DIN Rail Installation (16A)

I bought a 50A breaker to do a run test on my UPS (two 12V batteries). After running for 5 minutes at 36-37A this breaker tripped, which is well below 50A. I bought a 63A variety. That was able to carry the 37A for over an hour, but at app. 40 minutes it became too hot to touch and for the last 20 minutes I had to cool it actively with a fan as I was concerned it will melt or burn. But 63A did not trip at 37A constant current. I haven't seen specs published on these breakers, so maybe this will help someone.

It took a while for these to arrive (ships from China), but the circuit breaker work as advertised. Easily mount in a DIN Rail Enclosure and are great for disconnecting solar panels (or other DC loads) for service or test and at the same time provide overload/short circuit protection for the wiring

Good size connection points and good wire contacts should ensure no wiring difficulties. Smooth swithing operation. Nice tight rail mounting should insure a good installation every time.

Perfect for high voltage dc solar. Amazing price.

It is installed. I did not trip it to test it (not that I have the means to) so it will have to wait for a fault to happen some day, hopefully never.
