We make fresh juice almost every morning as a family. I've used centrifugal juicers in the past, which in my experience these juicers were so loud that they were negatively affecting my hearing. The Kuvings is quiet, and efficient. The juice tastes delicious - even more so than with my other juicer. I also love their clever brush system for cleaning the screen! It has more parts than my old Breville, and the downside is that you really need to hand wash everything, but - it is very efficient, does small fruit (blueberries and cranberries) and leafy greens very well (my centrifuge juicer didn't get much juice out of those). It's worth every last penny!By the way, those of you who are worried about the speed in juicing from the Kuvings versus a centrifuge juicer - don't worry, this juicer is plenty quick. Clean up is probably a couple of minutes longer, but once you get used to it, it's fine.

Superb construction

This is my third juicer and compared to the others I am so in love with this juicer! It does a great job juicing with the pulp coming out very dry. Also, a very minimal amount of pulp is collected in the small strainer basket which fits perfectly over the container that collects the juice. This juicer is fast and easy to use and clean! It takes larger pieces of veggies so that I do not have to cut the veggies in very small pieces as I did with my other twin-gear slow masticating juicer. It juices all veggies very well with very dry pulp. To juice greens, I alternate hard veggies like carrots between leafy greens. Also, celery and stringy leafy greens have to be cut into small pieces (if you don't the long strands clog where the pulp comes out) and alternated between hard veggies like carrots. It is fast but you have to be patient and not try to overload it, but just continually keep adding veggies waiting until it is ready for more and it works fast and consistent. I highly recommend!

This replaced my 8 year old Omega horizontal juicer. I was tired of replacing parts on the omega that costs almost as much as a new juicer about once a year. I wanted to try something new, enticed by the idea of spending less time cutting and feeding vegetables and fruit into the juicer.Pros:1. This juicer is very quiet.2. Actual juicing and prep time is one half that of the small mouth Omega I had. I can make a week's worth of juice in twenty minutes.Cons:1. Cleanup is double that of the Omega. The screen requires endless scrubbing with the brush (a screen cleaning contraption comes with the juicer but it's pretty useless) plus there are more parts to carefully clean.2. putting the juicer back together also takes a lot of time and skill. The parts have to line up perfectly and I've only achieved that twice in the 6 times I've used it. The other times, I fumbled around cursing trying to line things up. (this review was prompted by my frustration just now spending 5 minutes putting it back together).conclusion - if the amazon return date hadn't just passed, I would probably return this juicer and try another one. I like the idea spending less prep and juicing time but the clean up time and assembly frustration aren't worth it.

This is my 5th juicer.It like it better than all of the ones before it.- breville juice fountain, which works great for hard fruits and veggies but sucks to clean and is lousy for leafy greens- omega auger style juicer, but with only a 1.5" feed hole... I liked it because it did everything well, but was such a pain to feed things into- champion juicer. I though this would work better but it really was a step backwards. First it sucks for celery and much much worse the auger/grinder/shredder kept destroying itself, so it was, I even bought a replacement for it and it did the same thing. I definitely don't see how anyone uses one of them- a new omega auger style juicer with an oval feel hole that they said was like 2" except only in one dimension. I had this for awhile but got fed up with the size of the chute whole. Otherwise though it was the best so far.Last is this juicer. I love the much larger ROUND feed hole which really is a big over 3". It's so much easier to feed leafy greens into it especially. Another thing is that it is much more friendly to feeding the juiced pulp back in to get more juice out.The only real draw back is you have to cut up celery into 1-2" pieces before feeding it in. But that takes maybe 30 seconds of cutting so is really a non-issue.

Ok, just got delivered earlier today. Took it out of its box and let me tell you, it’s heavy for a juicer. It takes up minimal space on the counter which is a win and it is quiet when running, my cats didn’t take off like they normally do when I run a juicer. Now this is far from my first juicer as I’ve been vegan for over 40 years, so lots of juicing during those years. I decided to do a basic juice I always do and I normally get about 12-15 oz of juice. Today I filled up a 22 oz with the same amount of product so it definitely gets everything out. The pulp was nice and dry and compact so if you cook with the pulp it will be perfect. It took fruits full size that I would normally have to quarter. Saves on prep time! Only downside is it took me a bit to get it together and take apart. I’m sure as I get to know it’s setup I’ll get quicker at that. If you juice often you will definitely make back the money in produce savings. And it tastes super fresh!

So far I’m very happy with this juicer. It does a very good job, and runs quietly. Cleaning is easy. Wish the price would have been lower though. 😁

It's a bit expensive but I got advised that kuvings was a safe investment. It doesn't break easily.The base, where the motor is, is quite heavy so it's not for everybody but if you put it somewhere and don't have to move it all the time, you're OK.I tried it twice so far for a green juice and carrot juice. The fibers are rather dry.I just have to fine tune my recipes!
