I actually don't know where they were made. The Sporks I have aren't stamped with that information. They are a nice weight and have survived through several dishwasher cycles.

Q: How is the quality of it?

The quality is excellent. We have used these every day for about 6 months. They are beautiful .

Q: Are the tines sharp enough to stab food with? I have a one year old with developing feeding skills in mind.

They are sharp enough, maybe too sharp for a small child. Also, the handles are standard size and may be awkward for a one year old. But they would certainly be preferable to a standard fork for ease of eating.
