FroliCat SWAY MT1 Magnetically Suspended Cat Toy

Once I unpacked this toy and attached it to my glass coffee table, my cat immediately attacked it! Unfortunately the ball popped off after about 20 seconds of play. Yikes! Not exactly high quality for the price. After tearing the ball away from my cat, I managed to super-glue the ball back onto the string, and it seems OK now. My cat still plays with the toy, but she found the box it came in more interesting.The magnet itself is strong and seems to hold well against my cat's vicious onslaughts. I can't say I'll use it to slide around the toy, because I'm afraid I would damage the table, but I don't think I need to worry about it separating and bonking my cat on the head. It's also pretty convenient that I can attach it to any glass table in my house.Overall I'm glad I purchased this item, because it helps keep my kitty entertained while I am out of the house. I just wish they put a little more effort into making it more durable out of the box.

While this toy seems to occupy my cat's time, it only lasts about 2 minutes. My cat hasn't been de-clawed and while I keep his nails short, they still get caught on the ball that dangles (which is made of scratching post material). Once his nail(s) gets caught, it's over; he has pulled the entire bottom half off of the magnet and playing time is over. He's even pulled it down so hard once, that I think it's broken already.It's a great idea for a toy, but I would have liked for the material to be different.

Not the favourite of either of our cats, although kitten does bash it occasionally (its probably a bit high where we have it).It would be best on a coffee table so the ball is low to the ground. The magnets are strong but you do need a thin surface or they don't hold that well.Warning the magnets are strong - we think the frolicat killed a laptop hard-drive that was on the same coffee table.

Our 2 cats loved the heck out of this toy, but one day (within the first week of getting it) the toy was left dangling from the desk, and my wife and I came home to find the string bit in half. The dangling string comes out of the magnetic base, and then about an inch or so after it comes out it has a metal part which can be used to attach new string. However, if your cat bites through it above that metal part I don't see an easy way to repair the toy. Either way, I don't believe it is a worthwhile expense, and will not be buying it again.

When I received the toy in the mail, I was excited to see how my cat would react to the toy. She loves Da Bird, so I wanted a toy with feathers on it to entertain her when I was busy. My cat took to the toy pretty quickly. She played that night for an hour, off and on. Before going to bed, I put the toy away, afraid that she might get entangled with the elastic band if I left it out all night. The next night, I took the toy out again. About 15 minutes of play, the bottom magnet broke free and smacked her in the chest or stomach. It freaked her out and she took off running, with the elastic band strung around her leg and she dragged the magnet and feathered ball with her into the kitchen. It must've really hurt her, because even after 3 weeks, she was still afraid to go close to the feathered ball. Eventually, I threw that away as well.

Cute toy, great idea, but my cat was not interested at all. I wish it had a different attachment rather than a magnet because I think she would play with it if I attached it to a door, but the magnet is not strong enough to hold it up.

Tom-Cat was enjoying this SO much that he pulled on the string with the ball at the end and off he went with it! He enjoys the ball with the bell and drags it all over the place but as for the functionality of FroliCat, well, it's an awesome idea and those magnets ARE quite powerful but too bad the string isn't sturdier. I'll try tying it back for Tom, but he's a feisty one, he is!!

My cats adore this toy i had this toy for about two weeks now and they still play with it unlike other toys that they get easily bored with. My tables are glass and metal i put it on the metal and it doesnt move no matter how hard they tug at it. The only reason i did not give this item five stars is that i wish you could adjust the length of the string or that it was a little shorter other than that i am very pleased with my purchase.

This magnetic toy is different to most things available on the High Street and my cats find it very entertaining.It is sturdy and well built and fits well on a glass table or in our case on the coffee table.The cats get hours of fun and we get hours of fun watching them!Very reasonably priced, built to last and looks good too.

very strong magnet clamp for top of cage, my kittens broke the dangling 'mouse' in the end, but kittens seem to break everything!, good online amazon provider

To be honest,when I saw the toy,I thought there were 3 toys swinging,not one.So very disappointed ,I also found it hard to open.Also my cats just ignore it,so a waste of money

A definite hit for ours. Play with it for hours, we have it underneath a coffee table and they lie on the floor and pull at it.

It broke after less than a week!
