We recently planted a number of new trees including bare root apple trees that needed trunk protection for the upcoming Wyoming winter. I ordered this 3 pack of green flannel material and I am basically very pleased with it. I wrapped the trees from bottom to top of the trunk and put a zip tie around the top to secure it. It was extremely easy to use and should stand up fine for the winter although it is not that heavy of a material. The green color is unobtrusive as compared to some of the more expensive plastic wraps. I would definitely recommend this wrap and would order it again.

I really like the material. It is a very heavy, felt-like material. It seems like it will provide good protection during the winter. What I don’t like about it is what many other reviewers have mentioned. It is terribly packaged and not friendly to use. I t pretty much comes in a large, long sheet of fabric that is scored down the middle. I had to lay out the entire block of fabric, separate it into two segments at the score, cut it into more manageable lengths of fabric, and then wrap it around my hand to make it into a roll that would then be easy to wrap around the trunk of a tree. Have you ever tried to wrap an extremely long piece of material around a tree trunk without it being rolled up first? It is a pain. That is how this product is delivered. Other than the packaging element, I quite like the actual wrap. It was inexpensive which was the only saving grace. I recommend buying it, if you are willing to put in the work to separate it.
