These are properly sized and comfortable. I use the trial by fire test - five miles through the city on the first wear - and no chafing, blisters or pain! I also stepped through a few deep puddles, and there was no leakage. There is no steel toe on these, but ok. The soles have good grip, no sliding on wet steel. All in all, this a good, comfortable hiking shoe, true to size, and water resistant. Recommended!

I purchased these boots to use for disc golfing in mud/rainy conditions. I wanted the tallest height of Goretex in a boot I could find so that I can step in puddles/holes a few inches deep without water seeping in. Such a thing can be found from the name brands for over $100 a pair, but I decided to try these no-name brand shoes just in case. I happen to have some ankle/foot health issues which make comfort somewhat important.I have had the boots for just over a month now and have worn them around 10 times. I was pleasantly surprised to find they're pretty comfortable....I didn't really expect that. Everything else about the boots seems great too. My worry was that, since these are no-name brand and less expensive than competitors, they would fall apart quickly. They haven't yet fallen apart in any way. They look good to me and the shoestrings are quite long enough.I'm aware that I haven't worn the boots long enough to merit a full review, so I'll try to remember to update this review after several months' use.

Very comfortable to wear but after a few hrs need to air out

Great shoe light weight has held up very well I work outside and they get wet and muddy and so far they have done better than I expected.

I have a pair of the low top version of this boot which have been perfect for my needs. These are just as good if not better depending the terrain and needs. After a 6 mile hike in the mountains today I found them to be very supportive around the ankles but not restrictive. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable...I had no foot pain even though I didn't break them in prior to the longer hike. The soles never lost grip either ascending or descending and provided plenty of confidence to jump from rock to rock. Most importantly for me they are lightweight and my feet did not overheat even at 90 degrees. No water on this hike so can't speak to how waterproof they are but my experience with the other pair tells me they will be. Overall a great pair of hiking boots at a great price...highly recommended.

I started going hiking with my friends to Bear Mountain and wanted to get a better shoes that's comfortable for walking up the trail that also provide non-skid traction and ankle support and I couldn't have found a better hiking shoes than this one. It looks nice with touch of red she laces and it's also waterproof due to the membrane inside. It's relatively lightweight and very comfortable to wear all day, which serves as a perfect hiking shoes. I love this mid-top shoes so much that I will probably purchase their low-top shoes that basically has all the same feature and design as this one. The size fits as expected. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these for my son who recently started jogging. He has special needs so he can be kind of rough on his stuff, but these have held up really well. They are also very comfortable and match pretty much any outfit. This probably isn't an issue for some people, but they are really easy to put on another person because they open up so much when the laces are loosened.

I wore these for the first time today on a nine mile hike in the Colorado Rockies. Some of the terrain was fairly rough but they held up great. I never slipped or lost my footing. They are very comfortable but after nine miles it felt really good to take them off. I've had boots that cost 3-4 times what these did and to be honest am very impressed with these!
