A Great Emergency Tape!
This tape is amazing! It sticks only to itself so you can re-adjust as needed. Plus, the tighter you stretch it, the tighter the seal, the less tape needed. Because there is no glue, it doesn't damage what you fix. I bought this initially to fix some non descript leaks in my hydroponics system. It worked better than expected. A hole fixed in air tubing for sleep apnea system ( It really cut back on the noise). This is the type of thing to always have on hand for emergency quick fixes. I even re-ordered more, because there are so many uses for it.*Added uses: Amazingly I've found that the tape is light weight & flexible enough to splint bent plant stems & vines. Wrapped gently around two toothpicks with the bent area between. After about 2 weeks you can remove all & the plant has strengthened that area. ☆ just don't forget to remove after a time so it does not impede growth. I read a feedback that said that it didn't work on hoses. I found a weakened area on mine and wrapped it tight. It has held for a month now with daily use & no problems. Especially great is the fact that it's clear. I noticed where the clear hose on my kitchen sprayer was showing stress where it meets the spray handle and is being bent. It doesn't really need replacing, just a little clear reinforcement joining the two pieces so the stress on the hose does not continue.

Great tape
Been using this tape for years, works great. I have used it on my boat (in case of a hose leak on my inboard engine) used it at home to make emergency repairs on plumbing, it has many uses and works great.

First time using this type of product. Amazing properties
I never really used silicone tape in my projects. I never gave it much of a thought because it was more expensive than electrical tape, and I just didn't think it was necessary.... until I had a project that actually specifically required this. And boy did I finally realize, I've been missing out. This tape is perfect for electrical isolations in a humid/high temp environment. Electrical tape would just fail and makes a sticky mess (adhesive just melts over time). But this stuff is amazing. It doesn't stick to anything else but itself. And if you mess up, you can easily cut it to remove it. It doesn't take much to get the job done. I probably only used 12 inches in my project so this roll will actually last a very long time.

Works well, but not ideal for every application
I used this on a big leaking, high pressure PVC joint, but it wasn't able to adhere as seamlessly as it would need to to get a perfect seal. But I could see it working great on a leaking pipe, for example, where there are no joints or connectors interfering. I put it to good use on our kitchen fixtures to hold the switches in the spray position.

A Waste of Money for My Needs.
I have a pinhole leak in the threads of a 55 year old galvanized metal pipe that feeds the toilet supply line. The pipe comes up through the floor, with very little of it extending above the subfloor, and unknown to me has been seeping long enough to damage the subfloor surrounding it. I bought the Rescue tape hopeful that it would stop the leak until warmer weather when my brother could go under the house and replace the leaky pipe.Unfortunately, not enough of the pipe below the threaded joint was accessible enough to stretch and wrap 2 or 3 inches, so I started about an inch below the threads. It was a real headache, trying to pull away the backing, stretch the tape as I tried to wrap it, only to have it unravel as soon as I eased the tension enough to remove more backing. It promptly unraveled three or four turns causing me to have to stretch and wrap again. By the time I got to the end of the pipe threads and the coupling it threads to, both the tape and my patience was done. I couldn't get the end of the tape to stick to itself. It unraveled again about 2 inches. I finally got out a roll of heavy duty Pro-pvc tape and wrapped it around the end of the Rescue tape, then wrapped the entire blob of Rescue tape with the pro tape.Who knows if any of it stopped that tiny leak. I'm taking a break to get my blood pressure back under control, and will check the pipe again in a while. I hope so, anyway.Had the product information been clearer about its limited application, how it can't be used in tight spaces when stretching the tape 300% while trying to wrap it, I never would have bought it. I never would have wasted my money.

careful about application in heavy pressure conditions
I used this to try to solve a leaking hard plastic tube with 90-deg elbows at each end for watering a mulch bed. this tube goes under my brick front patio, so I can't just replace it easily. I have connected a standard hose to either end with a metal retaining ring that compresses the hose onto the end by srewing a screw to tighten it. while that tightening worked, the leaks occurred on the threaded pieces of the elbow connectors. I used the entire roll on both ends, and while pulling tightly and overlapping numerous times, the pressure of my leak in the hard plastic elbows forces thru. I may be resorting to duct tape over this rescue tape to see if that applies greater pressure, but for small leaks that do not have heavy water pressure, this should work. I was surprised the amount of pressure I was dealing with was an issue for me.

Heck yeah! <3
I purchased this, because my cute and convenient coiled pink hose was damaged. I’m not sure what happened. All I know is that I pulled into my driveway, and there was a big hole in it, and it was spraying my porch ceiling, flooding my poor plants. Anyway, I didn’t want to replace the hose, if I could save it. We followed the instructions by wrapping one direction, cutting the tape, and then wrapping the opposite way. It says it should be okay to use within minutes, but I chose to let it settle overnight, before testing in the morning. It worked perfectly, and I still have a lot of tape left.

Excellent stuff!
It's a great produst but unlike the description it comes without any instructions so I had to google how to best to use it after I had used it because it's not obviously how best to apply it.

It's works!
It works fairly well, had a leak for a turbo pipe in a tight spot. Wrapped this stuff around 3-4 times as tight and stretched as I could, it held for the day. Rewrapped the next day and held for a couple days until I got the replacement part. Works as temporary seal not for long term.

Does not work
Did not work at allI had a minor leak, in my bathroom. As soon as I turned the water on, after hours just to give it time to adhere. The leak was the same, what a waste of money.
