I often am a brand name buyer and tend to lean towards the reputation of the manufacturer to make purchasing decisions. So, I was surprised that I could not tell the difference between this product against the name brand product. I thought for sure that this tape would jam up my printer, or it wouldn't stick, or would fade quickly. So far none of that has happened and I couldn't be more pleased!The profit strategy of many manufacturers is to put out a product at a reasonable price and charge through the nose for any accessories they provide. Think about ink for your printer or shams for your comforter, it usually is the way companies make huge profits with the add-on items or supply product. A manufacturer will tell you that other company's products are not the same quality (and could void the warrantee) scaring you to purchase only their brand accessories. Fortunately, there are options out there and this is one of them!Outstanding value! Just as good as the brand name, only less expensive!

18 mm might be a bit wide, check the 12mm

Make sure that the tape is taught before installing into the label maker. So far, these label cartridges are good.

I decided to buy this package of four Wominten tapes as they were offered in colors not offered by Brother. So far the labels I've made have proven excellent - certainly equivalent to the Brother tapes so far and, even better, cheaper too! I use these tapes to color code certain computer cables plus, even better, various ends of small part drawers: Steel Nuts and Bolts with Standard threads, same but with Metric threads, Stainless Steel Nuts & Bolts, Grade 8 bolts, etc. I also use other combinations of ink colors and background colors for other items like saw blades, electrical parts, compressed air fittings, etc. Instead of having to read each individual label for each parts drawer, I just look for a specific ink color and background color combination FIRST (which eliminates about 90% of the drawers right away) and then look closer to find what I want. Takes time to get everything setup initially but, boy, really saves time/frustration in the long run!
