This was bought to help with sewing. It is bright; the magnifying lens seems clear and the clamp and bendy arm appear sturdy and work well. You can also dim the light level which is useful.I am pleasantly surprised with this magnifying light and I would recommend it.

Nice size magnifying glass and bright light. The clip clipped nicely onto my table but Shame the light lead was not longer. Would recommend

Very good light and magnification. The clip and build is also stiff and sturdy which is perfect for long painting sessions. Only downside is the light can get quite warm, but not hot to touch (luckily).

I have tried other clip-on lights for use with needlework projects but found they often didn’t provide a strong enough light. This one does all that and more with the added bonus of a magnifying glass. The clamp is quite fierce which means that there’s no danger of it falling off and very good value for money. My only slight quibble is that it has to be plugged in to a usb socket to be used which means the needlework frame has to be close to a suitable socket.

I bought this because I'm working on a piece of art with a lot of detail that I was having problems focusing on. This works perfectly as it has three different colours (I tend to use the brighter light), and the magnifying glass does what it should. It enlarges the image enough so that I can lay the colour down properly. I would recommend it, and the price is great too.
