Very sturdy, just don't over tighten screws!
I can't say enough good about this storage box! Very sturdy, it is screwed together top and bottom, and front and back to sides. Even better, it has a hydrolic lid control. Won't over open, or slam closed. LOVE IT!! Directions are simple.

Sturdy & Clear Instructions
We tried to go the cheap route, but that thing was awful! So we got this one & it is a whole new ball game!Easy to put together with clear instructions. Super-sturdy with a great seal around all sides, bottom & lid...no rain getting in! I really like the quality of this box. I could see people using it on a boat dock, around a pool, deck, or anywhere you need storage.Even bought a 2nd one...recommended to others!Dang squirrels!...you see in the pic that we cannot store our bird feeders in here...but this really is a sturdy product. The squirrels didn't get inside but it's just a matter of time...getting a metal trashcan for the bird feeders.

Great deck storage, non-trivial to assemble
Bin is great. Lid fit should keep out most rain. Plastic is textured, and looks nicer than I expected.Assembly was a bit more involved than I thought. Basically you are turning screws through metal bars, where the holes are too small, maybe intentionally. So you are in effect tapping your own threads through the steel. This can require some force, and typically in a situation where there's not enough clearance to use anything but a screwdriver or crescent wrench. In a few cases the holes didn't line up as intended with the plastic parts, which required trying to force things into alignment, again implying substantial forces applied. In a few cases it was not possible to insert and self-tap the screws at the steep angles required to connect with the misaligned plastic bits. In those cases I actually resorted to using some of my own screws, which were slightly smaller and fit through the holes in the metal bars.In the end, I got it together without mishap, and the assembed product is just fine. I just recommend allowing a couple hours to unpack and assemble.

HORRIBLE assembly - great box
I really wanted to go 3 stars on this due to the terrible assembly but the box really is excellent. Assembly gets ZERO STARS and I can’t give 5 stars even though the box is great because the assembly really is THAT bad - I’m weary of 4 but I’ll do it.We have the large box that we purchased at a box store a few years ago. It was the only one left so we got the floor model and the guy told us we lucked out because it was horrible to put together. We laughed but brought the box home and it had held up very well - water tight, sturdy ... so we decided to get a smaller one for pool cleaning supplies. This actually arrived late too (forgot about that until just now) but we were eager to put it together. 10 minutes in I recalled that box store worker telling us what a nightmare assembly was. He was not lying!! Let me see if I can remember it all:1. The sides would not click and slide. We had two people trying with no luck. We finally notice one the “pegs” was smashed so with two people, one could use a screwdriver as a wedge to guide the smashed one so the rest could lock in place. Phew! Moving on, right? NO!2. EVERY SINGLE SCREW is in a nearly impossible place to reach. The screws in the tabs on the bottom ... what?!? Short screws, at an angle, not predrilled. The video doesn’t even show the man actually doing this step. I know why! The screws holding hinges on the lid are a joke to get to. If they are going to make it that complicated they should provide special tools because our ratchet would not fit. A drill/screwdriver would not fit. The head would screw with a flat screwdriver but it was VERY shallow so it kept slipping off plus you had the have screwdriver laying right on the lid to get to the screw so you couldn’t get a hand around it to help screw it in.3. The screw holes are not aligned. The metal bar in the lid - the two center screws were so off that we didn’t even know if we would be able to put a screw in ... it just about a hit a void. We took the screw at an angle and made it work but it was not easy. Also watch because due to awkward angles and unaligned “holes” or place they intend you to hit, it’s easy to pop a screw through the plastic.4. The hinges ... at this point I was about to return the box. Again, the bolts were short and the holes too small. By this time we’d already busted out a drill bit to help us with these hole so we adjusted the holes a tad to get the bolts through only to find the head of the bolt is too big for the space. It sits RIGHT on a ledge and you have to make sure it’s sitting on a flat side of the bolt (and then punch it through because you can’t screw it) because when it raises on a ‘point‘ of the hexagon head, the bolt goes in crooked. You don’t have much room here to go crooked without splitting the hole.Really, the box is great but I will not be buying another. I wouldn’t have this one if I’d had to put the first one together. It’s frustrating because I feel every issue could have been easily fixed with better design.

Great storage.
I little complicated to put together; however, once done, it is a perfect size for all the pool chemicals. Nice size fits on my porch and looks great.

Poor Quality and quality control
DO NOT PURCHASE. This is the second Lifetime. This first had the same problem as the first much more serious. The holes drilled did not line up with the thickened plastic areas they were meant to screw into. The first was just a little off center and I did not think too much about it but with a few weeks the screws started to fail. I had to use epoxy to build up the failed areas and replace the screws. I bought this item as it was the only one with the dimensions needed. Received this item on March 16 2025. @ of the panels were warped and 3 other panels had excess plastic at the mold seems that had to be trimmed off to get the parts to fit. The holes did not line up again but adding epoxy would not work this time. If it was not for the fact it was the right dimensions I would return the item. i had to use metal braces with nuts, bolts and finder washers to put the item together. I was getting ready to order one of the Lifetime sheds but after seeing the videos of other putting the shed together and the 2 experiences I have I will not by this brand again.

Do Not Buy!
DO NOT BUY! 1. Front & Rear Panel tabs do NOT easily slide into bottom. 2. No pilot holes in bottom plastic tabs . 3. Throughout assembly “the diameter of the screw is meant to be larger than the hole … use an electric drill”. An electric drill completely torqued out doesn’t put a larger screw through a metal hole! 4. Hinges assembly instructions Vague. I have had to call it quits until I can get different hardware; it’s the weekend but hopefully customer service will support me during the week. And as a PS, I can see light through the bottom panel tabs.
